Sale of Land by Hawke’s Bay Harbour Board Pursuant to Section 143A of Harbours Act 1950

I, Colin Campbell Alexander McLachlan, Minister of Transport, pursuant to the power vested in me by sections 143A and 143c of the Harbours Act 1950, and with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, do hereby approve the sale by private treaty of the land vested in the Hawke’s Bay Harbour Board as described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the condition that the harbour board apply the proceeds from the sale approved hereunder for harbour works or improvement of endowment land remaining vested in the harbour board, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the 7th day of March 1978.

ALL that parcel of land containing 7 acres 2 roods 5.3 perches, more or less, situated in the City of Napier, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 12547, comprising part Ahuriri Lagoon and being the whole of the land described in certificate of title, Volume D4, folio 533, Hawke’s Bay Registry.
