Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block III, Gordon Survey District, Waimea County, for Road

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for the widening of road on State Highway 6. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Wakefield, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested in Block XV, Whangarei Survey District, Whangarei County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Whangarei County Council, and also proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which shall, when so closed, vest in Donald Frederick Donovan, of Parua Bay, farmer, and Dorothy Rosa Donovan, his wife, as tenants in common in equal shares, subject to mortgages No. 125930.5 and 125930.6, North Auckland Land Registry.
