Consent to the Distribution of New Therapeutic Drugs

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drugs set out in the Schedule hereto.

The Road Classification (Waimairi County) Notice No. 1, 1979

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waimairi County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

  2. The Waimairi County Council’s proposed classification of the road, as set out in the Schedule hereto, is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 1st day of November 1962†, as relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

ROAD CLASSIFIED IN CLASS ONE

SPENCERVILLE ROAD: from Marshland Road to a point 100 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Spencerville Road from Marshland Road.

The Road Classification (Dannevirke County) Notice No. 1, 1979

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Dannevirke County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

  2. The Dannevirke County Council’s proposed classification of the roads, as set out in the Schedule hereto, is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 7th day of September 1961†, as relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

ROADS CLASSIFIED IN CLASS ONE

SITUATED within Dannevirke County near Dannevirke:

Kumeti Road: from Maharahara Road to the Tui Co-operative Dairy Company Ltd. factory entrance.

Maharahara Road: from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno to Wellington via Gisborne) to Kumeti Road.

The Water Recreation (Rangitikei River) Notice, 1979

PURSUANT to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of the powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Rangitikei River) Notice, 1979.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulation 7 (1) (a) and (b) and 7 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 shall not apply with respect to the areas described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL the waters of the Rangitikei River from its source to the sea.

SECOND SCHEDULE

  1. Notwithstanding any other provision of this notice, no person who is permitted by any such provision to propel or navigate a small craft at a speed through the water exceeding 5 knots shall do so in any manner that is likely to endanger or unduly annoy any person who is on, in, or using the water, or fishing or undertaking any recreational activity in the vicinity of the small craft.

  2. No person shall enter any area of state forest without first obtaining the written consent of the Conservator of Forests or other lawful authority for the area concerned.

  3. The river shall not be used as access to the Waiouru Army Training Area. Persons shall restrict themselves to the riverbed or to the eastern side of the river in this area.

  4. All persons in charge of a vessel shall adhere to and keep the provisions of all other Acts and regulations not specifically exempted by this notice.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulation 7 (1) (a) and (b) and 7 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 shall not apply with respect to the areas described in the First Schedule hereto.
