Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Waikato Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee, on 10 November 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Matamata Motor Inn, at Matamata.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve), and Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year's Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.

The said variations are granted for a period of 3 months from 13 November 1978, a new application is to be filed after that time.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Waikato Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee, on 10 November 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Whangamata Hotel at Whangamata.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve or Christmas Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening, during the period of New Zealand daylight time in each year as defined by The New Zealand Daylight Time Order 1975.

(c) On any Friday and Saturday (except during the period of New Zealand daylight time in each year as defined by The New Zealand Daylight Time Order 1975): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(d) On every Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

The said variations are subject to the condition that substantial light refreshments are available for patrons.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee, on 22 December 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Waihi Beach Hotel, Waihi.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve), and Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year's Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.

The above hours are to operate between the 1st day of December 1978 and the 30th day of April 1979 and thereafter each year between the same dates.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 15 December 1978, made an order revoking its order made on 3rd March 1978 and further authorised variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Royal George Inn at Newmarket, Auckland.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening but during the period from 10 o'clock in the evening to 11 o'clock in the evening on any Friday and Saturday until the said premises are required to be closed in accordance with this order.

And the Committee grants an exemption for the purpose of Section 187 of the said Act in respect of the period from 10 o'clock in the evening on any Friday and Saturday until the said premises are required to be closed in accordance with this order.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
