Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—Wanganui Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as
amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment
Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for
Justice, hereby give notice that the Wanganui Licensing Com-
mittee, on 20 December 1978, made an order authorising
variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed
premises known as the Imperial Hotel, at Wanganui.

To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing
of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve):
Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at
10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday (not being New Year's Eve) and
Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning
and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On any Saturday (not being Christmas Eve or New
Year's Eve): Opening at 9.30 o'clock in the morning
and closing at 9.30 o'clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as
amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment
Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for
Justice, hereby give notice that the Bay of Plenty Licensing
Committee, on 24 November 1978, made an order authorising
variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed
premises known as the Homestead Tavern, Rotorua.

To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing
of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve):
Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at
10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve)
and Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the
morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year's Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the
morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning
of New Year's Day.

It shall be a condition of this order that food, tea, and
coffee be provided in the Public Bar during the period that
the premises are open for the sale of liquor.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
undersigned Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, acting under
powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the
Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the
