Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Waikato Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee, on 10 November 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club premises known as the Te Awamutu Returned Services Association Club at Te Awamutu.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday (not being New Year's Eve) and Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year's Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.

The said variations are subject to there being substantial light refreshments available to patrons.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 15 December 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club premises known as the Avondale Returned Services Club (Incorporated) at Avondale.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve) and Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Wanganui Licensing Committee, on 20 December 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club premises known as the Wanganui East Club (Incorporated).

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve) and Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Bruce James Cameron, Acting Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the South Canterbury Licensing Committee, on 12 December 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the premises shown in the Schedule below.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; and any Friday and Saturday not specified below (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday (not being New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve): During the period of New Zealand daylight time, opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On any Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(d) On New Year's Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's day.

(e) On any Public Holiday (whether local or national) falling on a Friday or a Saturday, and also on the Saturdays of Queen's Birthday Weekend, Labour Weekend and Easter Weekend: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
