The Marine Pollution (Approval of Dispersants) Notice 1979
PURSUANT to regulation 4 of the Marine Pollution (Dispersants and Exceptions) Regulations 1975, I, Hubert David Maurice Jones, Director of the Marine Division of the Ministry of Transport, hereby give the following notice.
NOTICE
THE dispersant known as Drew Ameroid Oil Spill Dispersant / LT, and marketed in New Zealand by Gilbert Lodge & Co. Ltd., Auckland, is hereby approved for the purposes of the Marine Pollution (Dispersants and Exceptions) Regulations 1975.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
PURSUANT to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Robin Paul Taylor of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby approve the Akaroa Harbour and Foreshore Bylaw 1968 Amendment No. 4 1979, made by the Akaroa County Council and passed and adopted at meetings of the said Council held on the 31st day of August and the 28th day of September 1979 respectively.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 October 1979 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1 (Awanui to Bluff) from the Kaiwaka River Bridge to its junction with Ross Road at the southern boundary of Otamatea County as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan LA11/18/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Whangarei, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Northland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee, on 23 November 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Commercial Hotel, Dargaville.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Manawatu Licensing Committee, on 2 November 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Settlers Arms Hotel, Ormondville.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve), and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 8 o’clock in the morning to 1 o’clock in the afternoon and 4 o’clock in the evening until 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve), and Christmas Eve—Opening at 8 o’clock in the morning to 1 o’clock in the afternoon and 4 o’clock in the afternoon until 11 o’clock in the evening.
