To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year's Eve), and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Manawatu Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Manawatu Licensing Committee, on 2 November 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the Palmerston North R.S.A. (Inc.).

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year's Eve), and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.

Appointment of Fisheries Registration Office and Its Area of Operation (No. 2289, Ag. 9/1/4)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Commercial Fishing Regulations 1963, notice is given that the Director-General hereby specifies that, as from and including the 10th day of December 1979, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Government Building, Meilba Street, Kaitaia, shall be the place for the registration of fishing boats within the boundaries of Hokianga Harbour to Rangiahua and from thence to Mangonui including all parts northward to Cape Reinga and North Cape.

Appointment of Fisheries Registration Office and Its Area of Operation (No. 2290, Ag. 9/1/4)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Commercial Fishing Regulations 1963, notice is given that the Director-General hereby specifies that, as from and including the 10th day of December 1979, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Estate Building, Normanby Street, Dargaville, shall be the place for the registration of fishing boats within the boundaries of North Head, Kaipara Harbour, and Maungakaramea and Rangiahua to the southern natural limit of Hokianga Harbour.

Appointment of Fisheries Registration Office and Its Area of Operation (No. 2291, Ag. 9/1/4)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Commercial Fishing Regulations 1963, notice is given that the Director-General hereby specifies that, as from and including the 10th day of December 1979, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Government Building, King Street, Opotiki, shall be the place for the registration of fishing boats within the boundaries of Tarawera River to East Cape.

Notice Declaring Dodder a Class B Noxious Plant (Notice No. 2287, Ag. 12/10/10)

  1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares dodder (cuscata spp.) excluding clover dodder (cuscata epithymum) to be a class B noxious plant throughout New Zealand.

  2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

Notice Declaring Woolly Nightshade a Class B Noxious Plant (Notice No. 2288, Ag. 12/10/10)

  1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares woolly nightshade (solanum mauritianum) to be a class B noxious plant throughout the North Island of New Zealand and that part of the South Island lying within the boundaries of the Province of Nelson.

  2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

Waitemata Fire District Notice 1979

PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Waitemata Fire District Notice 1979.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of February 1980.
  2. The urban area described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby constituted a fire district to be known as the Waitemata Fire District.
  3. The Kumeu-Huapai and Herald Island Fire Districts are hereby abolished.

SCHEDULE

All that area in the North Auckland Land District in the Waitemata City and Rodney County bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the northern side of State Highway No. 18 and the right bank of the Rangitopuni Stream in Block VI, Waitemata Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly generally along the north-eastern side of that state highway and Newton Road and the last roadside produced across Great North Road to its north-western side; thence south-westerly along the aforesaid roadside crossing School Road to the easternmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 29320; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Lot 1 and the north-eastern, northern, and western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 56967, and the western boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 56967, to its westernmost corner; thence westerly generally along the generally southern boundaries of Sections 65H and 64H and across the end of a legal road and along the southern boundary of 63H to and southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 66H to the northern side of Deacon Road, the aforesaid sections being of Riverhead Homestead Settlement; thence westerly generally along the northern side of the aforesaid road, crossing a public road and continuing to the eastern boundary of Allotment 48, Paremoremo Parish; thence westerly generally along the
