Declaration that Land is a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Christchurch City Council on the 19th day of August 1978:
“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said city council in fee simple as to one half share and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—WAIMAIRI COUNTY
4284 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 39453, Block VII, Christchurch Survey District. All C.T. 18A/1424.

Alteration in Frequency of Sittings in Magistrate’s Court at Tokoroa
PURSUANT to section 22 (1) of the Magistrate’s Court Act 1947, the Minister of Justice has been pleased to approve that the Magistrate’s Court at Tokoroa sits regularly on two consecutive days a fortnight with one additional consecutive day every alternate fortnight, on and from 16 October 1978.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 6 October 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the D. B. Waimetama Tavern, Auckland.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—Opening at 8 o’clock in the morning and closing at 7 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Clubs—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 6 October 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club premises shown in the Schedule below.
To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 6 October 1978, made an order revoking the order made by the licensing committee at Auckland on 3 March 1978 (whereby the usual hours for the sale of liquor from the hotel premises known as the D. B. Ponsonby Hotel, Auckland, were varied), and hereby further orders.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening, but during the period from 10 o’clock in the evening to 11 o’clock in the evening the said premises shall only be open in respect of those parts of the premises known as “Harbour View Lounge” and the “Vista Bottle Store”.
