Change of Name of Part of the Matiri Scenic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby declares that part of the reserve for scenic purposes, described in the Schedule hereto, and known as the Matiri Scenic Reserve shall hereafter be known as the Owen River Scenic Reserve.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Waimairi County Council on the 27th day of September 1977:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said county council in fee simple as to one half share and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”
