Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 23 June 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Strand Tavern, Auckland.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday—opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Saturday—opening at 8 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 23 June 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Puhoi Hotel, Puhoi.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve or Christmas Eve)—opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On Christmas Eve—opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On New Year’s Eve—opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Marlborough Licensing Committee, on 23 June 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) and Christmas Eve—opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year’s Eve—opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Otago Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Otago Licensing Committee, on 20 June 1978, made an order revoking the order made by the Licensing Committee at Dunedin on 18 January 1977 (whereby the usual hours for the sale of liquor from the hotel premises known as the Commercial Tavern, Green Island were varied), and restoring the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public from the said hotel premises on any Friday.
