SITUATED within Waimairi County:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): the section known as Cranford Street, from the north-western boundary of Christchurch City to a point 1040 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from McFaddens Road.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waimairi County:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): the section known as Blenheim Road, from the eastern boundary of Paparua County to a point 40 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Matipo Street.
Harewood Road: from Russley Road to a point 120 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along Harewood Road from Crofton Road.
Memorial Avenue: from a point 20 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along Memorial Avenue from Grahams Road to a point 560 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said Avenue from Russley Road.
Russley Road: from a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara) to a point 120 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Russley Road from Ryans Road.
Sawyers Arms Road: from Gardiners Road to a point 320 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Sawyers Arms Road from Johns Road.

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 4, 1978
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 4, 1978.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 7, 1974, dated the 16th day of May 1974†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waimairi County at Marshland, Burwood, Parkland, and Woodland, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waimairi County at Marshland, Burwood and Parkland:
All the road within the area bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the northern boundary of Christchurch City with the western side of Hills Road and proceeding northerly, generally, along that roadside across Winters Road to a point 60 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said roadside from Walters Road; thence north-easterly, generally, across Hills Road, from its south-western side to that roadside to the western side of Walters Road; thence easterly, generally, across Walters Road from its western side to its eastern side; thence easterly, generally, along the northern side of McSaveneys Road to the western side of Marshland Road; thence southerly, generally, along that roadside across McSaveneys Road to a point 180 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said roadside from Briggs Road; thence easterly, generally, across Marshland Road, from its western side to its eastern side; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Mairehau Road 280 metres measured westerly, generally, along that roadside from Burwood Road; thence northerly, generally, across Mairehau Road from its southern side to its northern side; thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Prestons Road 520 metres measured westerly, generally, along that roadside from Burwood Road; thence northerly, generally, across Prestons Road from its southern side to its northern side; thence easterly, generally, along that roadside to the western side of Burwood Road; thence northerly, generally, along that roadside to a point 1040 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said roadside from Prestons Road; thence easterly, generally, across Burwood Road from its western side to its eastern side; thence due east by a right line to the coast of the Pacific Ocean thence southerly, generally, along that coastline to the northern boundary of Christchurch City; thence westerly, generally, along that boundary to the commencing point.

Prestons Road: from a point 640 metres measured westerly, generally, along Prestons Road from Marshland Road to Hills Road.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waimairi County at Marshland and Burwood:
Guthries Road: from a point 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Guthries Road from Marshland Road to a point 200 metres measured southerly, generally, along Guthries Road from Ford Road.
Hills Road: from a point 60 metres measured westerly, generally, along Hills Road from Walters Road to Prestons Road.
Marshland Road: from a point 120 metres measured northerly, generally, along Marshland Road from Prestons Road to a point 360 metres measured southerly, generally, along Marshland Road from Prestons Road.
