The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 5, 1978
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 5, 1978.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 3, 1974, dated the 22nd day of January 1974†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waimairi County at Belfast, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 6, 1974, dated the 27th day of February 1974‡, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waimairi County at Kainga, is hereby revoked.

Cawood Terrace.
Gillespies Road.
Kainga Road: from Main North Road to a point 500 metres measured easterly, generally, along Kainga Road from Gillespies Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waimairi County at Kainga:
Main North Road: from a point 80 metres measured southerly, generally, along Main North Road from Kainga Road to a point 400 metres measured northerly, generally, along Main North Road from Kainga Road.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 3, 1978.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Waimairi and Paparua Counties) Notice No. 1, 1974, dated the 22nd day of January 1974†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waimairi and Paparua Counties at Avondale, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Waimairi County and Riccarton Borough) Notice No. 2, 1974, dated the 24th day of May 1974‡, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waimairi County, is hereby revoked.

All roads except No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) within the area adjacent to Christchurch City, Riccarton Borough, and Paparua County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the northern side of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (the section known as Blenheim Road), with the western boundary of Waimairi County and proceeding northerly, westerly, north-westerly and north-easterly, generally, along the boundary of Waimairi County to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said boundary from No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara); thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line at right angles to the said boundary to the south-eastern side of Russley Road; thence north-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Dinton Street and Bentley Street to a point 120 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said roadside from Ryans Road; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the south-western side of Avonhead Road 360 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along that roadside from Hawthornden Road; thence north-easterly, generally, across Avonhead Head from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside to the north-western side of Roydvale Avenue; thence north-easterly, generally, along that roadside to the south-western side of Memorial Avenue; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Roydvale Avenue and Frith Place to a point 20 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said roadside from Grahams Road; thence north-easterly, generally, across Memorial Avenue from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-westerly, generally, along that roadside across Kendall Avenue and Roydvale Avenue to the north-western side of Roydvale Avenue; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of Wairakei Road 20 metres measured easterly, generally, along that roadside from Stanleys Road; thence northerly, generally across Wairakei Road from its southern side to its northern side; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to the northern end of Holt Place; thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line to the intersection of the northern side of Wairakei Road and the western side of Wooldridge Road; thence easterly, generally, across Wooldridge Road from its western side to its eastern side; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the south-western side of Harewood Road 120 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along that roadside from Crofton Road; thence north-easterly, generally, across Harewood Road from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside to the north-western side of Crofton Road; thence north-easterly, generally, along that roadside to the south-western side of Sawyers Arms Road; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Crofton Road to the north-western side of Gardeners Road; thence north-easterly, generally, across Sawyers Arms Road from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Gardeners Road to a point 160 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said roadside from Highest Road; thence north-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Claridges Road from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Highest Road to the western side of Grampian Street; thence northerly and easterly, generally, along the western and northern side of Grampian Street to the western side of Cavendish Road; thence northerly, generally, along that roadside to a point in line with the northern side of Barnes Road; thence easterly, generally, across Cavendish Road from its western side to its eastern side; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to the intersection of the western side of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) and the southern side of Styx Mill Road;
