The Traffic (Papakura City and Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1978
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Papakura City and Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1978.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Papakura Borough) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 19th day of March 1975† issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Papakura Borough and Manukau City, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within in Papakura City and Manukau City at Red Hill:
Boundary Road: from a point 400 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Opahake Road to Hunua Road.
Clevedon Road: from the eastern boundary of Papakura City to a point 480 metres measured easterly, generally, along Clevedon Road from the said boundary.
Dominion Road.
Hunua Road: from a point 420 metres measured southerly, generally, along Hunua Road from Settlement Road to the eastern boundary of Papakura.
Red Hill Road: from Gibbs Crescent to Settlement Road.
Settlement Road: from Dominion Road to Red Hill Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Papakura City and Manukau City at Red Hill:
Clevedon Road: from the eastern boundary of Papakura City to a point 480 metres measured easterly, generally, along Clevedon Road from the said boundary.
Dominion Road: from Settlement Road to Clevedon Road and from Croskery Road to Red Hill Road.
Settlement Road: from Dominion Road to a point 1160 metres measured easterly, generally, along Settlement Road from Redcrest Avenue.

Electric Lines Licence—Authorising the Kaitaia Borough Council to Erect and Use Electric Lines
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy hereby licences the Kaitaia Borough Council of Kaitaia, subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
-
This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraph (j) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, and shall be a two-wire direct current earth return system of 12 volts.

This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1999.
SCHEDULE
LINES commencing from a transformer situated adjacent to the pumping station at the Okahu Stream and proceeding for a distance of approximately 3.29 kilometres, generally, in a northerly direction to the licensee’s reservoir at Hester’s trig Okahu Road.
All being situated in blocks V and IX, Takahue Survey District, in the County of Mangonui, as shown on the plan marked NZE 964, deposited in the office of the Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy, at Wellington.

Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand—Designation of Administrative Local Authority for Community Arts Council
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, I hereby designate the Glen Eden Borough Council to be the administrative local authority in respect of the Titirangi Community Arts Council.

It is hereby notified that pursuant to section 50 (2) (b) of the Local Government Act 1974, the boundaries of the City of Manukau are altered by including within the city, land reclaimed from the Tamaki Strait and described in the Schedule thereto:

Exemptions from Immigration Entry Permit Requirements
PURSUANT to section 19 of the Immigration Act 1964, I hereby exempt from all the requirements of Part 2 of the Act all persons who are passengers on ships visiting New Zealand subject to the following conditions:
(1) That they leave with the ship when it leaves the New Zealand port where the passenger disembarked.
(2) If prevented from leaving with the ship for some cause beyond the passengers’ control they report their presence to the nearest immigration office and leave New Zealand when required to do so by an immigration officer.
