The Traffic (Southland County) Notice No. 1, 1978

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Southland County) Notice No. 1, 1978.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. So much of the Traffic (Southland County) Notice No. 1, 1973, dated the 9th day of January 1973*, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff), situated within Southland County adjacent to Invercargill City, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Southland County adjacent to Invercargill City:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)—from Racecourse Road to a point 600 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Racecourse Road.

Amending Notice to the Open Season for Game in Certain Acclimatisation Districts—South Island

THE Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 10, of 16 February 1978, at p. 318, relating to the open season for game in acclimatisation districts in the South Island, is amended as follows:

In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the Waitaki Valley Acclimatisation District:

(a) By deleting the following:

Game That May be Hunted or Killed

Pheasants (only in that area of the Waitaki Valley Acclimatisation District that lies west of Lake Waitaki)

Duration of 1978–79 Season

20 May to 21 May 1978 incl.

(b) And by substituting the following:

Boundaries of the City of Papakura Altered

PURSUANT to section 50 (2) of the Local Government Act 1974, as inserted by the Local Government Amendment Act (No. 3) 1977, the Minister of Local Government hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the City of Papakura Boundaries Alteration Notice 1978.

2. The boundaries of the City of Papakura are hereby altered by including in the district of the city, land reclaimed from the sea at Pahurehure Inlet on Manukau Harbour and described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

PART tidal lands of the Manukau Harbour, situated in Blocks III and IV, Drury Survey District: area, 3.9430 hectares, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 9B, folio 1172, limited as to parcels; as more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 52573 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon marked A.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 23rd day of May 1978.

2. The Board of Governors of Solway College shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Education Board of the district in which the school is situated;

(b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;

(c) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;

(d) Four members appointed by the proprietor of the school.
