Approval of Motor-cycle Safety Helmets in Terms of Traffic Regulations 1976

Pursuant to sub-clause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves, for the purpose of regulation 31 of the said regulations, motor-cycle helmets of the make and type described in the schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Safety helmets manufactured by Thetford Moulded Products Ltd., England, bearing the marking "Centurion Sprint" and the certification mark of the British Standards Institution, B.S. 5631.

Industries Development Commission Notice No. 1978/1--- General Textile Industry Reference

(1) The Commission gave notice in the New Zealand Gazette No. 109, of 27 October 1977, that a set of guidelines for the series of hearings beginning 26 April 1978, would be available in January 1978. These guidelines may be obtained from the offices of the Commission from 27 January 1978. Copies will be forwarded to all parties who register their interest in terms of the Commission's Notice No. 1977/6, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 116, of 17 November 1977.

(2) The closing date for submissions for the hearing on general principles beginning Wednesday, 26 April 1978, remains Friday, 10 March 1978, as notified. The closing date for submissions for the sector hearings, which will begin on 16 May 1978, is Friday, 31 March 1978.

(3) The dates for the individual sector hearings will be notified not later than 20 April 1978, not 6 April 1978, as originally notified.

Bona Vacantia Disclaimed

In the matter of section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of PERFECTION PANELS (N.Z.) LTD., a dissolved company.

Notice is hereby given as follows:

  1. That on the 17th day of October 1977, it came to the notice of the Secretary to the Treasury that the property of Perfection Panels (N.Z.) Ltd., in New Zealand Patent Number 157626/161015 and Canadian Patent Number 153,827, had vested in the Crown pursuant to section 337 of the above-mentioned Act.

  2. That on the date aforesaid application was received by the Secretary to the Treasury for the Crown's title to the said patents to be disclaimed.

  3. That no such application as aforesaid was received by the Secretary to the Treasury before the date aforesaid.

  4. That the Crown's title to the said patents is hereby disclaimed.
