Revoking in Part a Declaration Taking Land for State Housing
Purposes in the Borough of Marton

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right
Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Declaration dated the 18th
day of February 1977, published in Gazette, No. 28, 10 March
1977, p. 562, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at
Wellington, as No. 170816.1, taking land for State housing
purposes in the Borough of Marton, in so far as it affects the
land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land, situated in the Borough of Marton,
described as follows:
Area m² Being
603 Lot 10, D.P. 45257. All certificate of title, No. 16D/981.
638 Lot 11, D.P. 45257. All certificate of title, No. 16D/982.

General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this

Declaring Land in Taranaki Land District, Vested in the
Taranaki Education Board as a Site for a School, to be
Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area
vested in the Taranaki Education Board as a site for a
school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and
discharged from every education trust affecting the same, but
subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affect-
ing the same at the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT—ELTHAM COUNTY
Section 40, Village of Makaka, situated in Block X,
Kaupokonui Survey District, containing 4.0469 hectares, more
or less, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume
156, folio 216, Taranaki Registry (Plan S.O. 7737).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 23rd day of December 1977.

Proclaiming Land Taken for the Purposes of the Wairarapa
Railway at Solway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I Sir Keith Jacka
Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto, is hereby taken for railway purposes; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 23rd day of January 1978.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—MASTERTON BOROUGH
All that piece of land described as follows:
Area m² Being
23 Part Section 29, Masterton Small Farm Settlement, being
balance of Deeds Index 9/389, marked M on plan.
Situated in Block IV, Tiffin Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L.O. 29156 (S.O. 30712) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon marked
as above mentioned.

ing in Council
Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the access way described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of
New Plymouth, and under the control and management of the
New Plymouth City Council.

1971

to be a member of the Board of Examiners from 1 January
1978, for a period of 3 years.

Declaring Land Taken for Works, Appliances, and Con-
veniences Necessary, Directly or Indirectly for the Genera-
tion of Electricity in Block XXVI, Town of Clyde
Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, and
section 11 of the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Works
and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to a building
line restriction contained in No. X. 1990t for Works, Appli-
ances, and Conveniences necessary, directly or indirectly for
the generation of electricity, from and after the 19th day of
January 1978.

All that piece of land containing 2 roods and 37.84 perches,
being Lot 1, D.P. 9270 (Town of Clyde Extension No. 5), and
