Approval of Safety Glass

PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 38 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves, for the purpose of subclause (5) of regulation 73 of the said regulations, safety glass of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

TINTED glass for use in roof panels marked “NM” and bearing the certification mark of the Standards Association of Australia, the standard number being “R1” and the licence number “249”.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 3 March 1978 made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing of the premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve) opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
