Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 3 March 1978 made orders authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public the hours for the opening and closing of the premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Saturday opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening but during the period from 10 o'clock in the evening to 11 o'clock in the evening the said premises shall only be open in respect of parts of the premises known as "The Lounge Bar", "The Bottle Store".
The committee specifies that the foregoing was applied to only those parts on the said premises known as "The Lounge Bar" and "The Bottle Store".

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 3 March 1978 made an order authorising variation of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club premises known as The New Zealand Steel Staff and Waiuku Community Sports Social and Welfare Club, Auckland.
To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year's Eve) and on Christmas Eve opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 0.30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.

All persons who may be affected by these specifications, and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies at the prices shown in the second column of the said Schedule, from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing dates for the receipt of comment are shown in the third column of the said Schedule.
Note—Payment must accompany all requests for drafts.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendments are being circulated.
Number and Description of Draft
DZ 4203/2A Draft amendment No. 2 to NZS 4203:1976 Code of practice for general structural design and design loadings for buildings.
This draft proposes a number of amendments to clauses throughout the code. Some are intended to clarify the meaning, and others are intended to make substantive changes.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 5 May 1978.
