Designation of Lower Hutt Community Arts Council
PURSUANT to section 32 (i) of the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, on the recommendation of the Central Regional Arts Council and on the application of the Lower Hutt Community Arts Council, the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand hereby designates the Lower Hutt Community Arts Council for the following duly defined areas:
Those administered by the Lower Hutt City Corporation; the Petone and Eastborne Borough Councils; and the Wainuiomata District Community Council.

Designation of Central Otago Community Arts Council
PURSUANT to section 32 (i) of the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, on the recommendation of the Southern Regional Arts Council and on the application of the Central Otago Community Arts Council, the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand hereby designates the Central Otago Community Arts Council to be the Community Arts Council for the following duly defined area:
Central Otago
To include the Vincent County and all the towns and boroughs contained therein, and that adjoining part of the Tuapeka County bounded by the Clutha River and excluding the township of Beaumont, and thence proceeding in a straight line north-east until it reaches the Taieri County.
This notice revokes the previous notice headed “Designation of Central Otago Community Arts Council”, which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 49, of 6 May 1976, on p. 1022.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:
(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:

(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the land described in paragraph (a) above being:
