Notice of Poultry Farm Registration Fee

PURSUANT to section 16 of the Poultry Board Act 1976, the Poultry Board, having obtained the approval of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, gives notice that the rate of registration fee to be paid by the occupier of a poultry farm for the registration year commencing on the 1st day of July 1977, and for every registration year thereafter until this notice is amended or revoked, shall be as follows:

(a) For each poultry farm of not less than 100 nor more than 500 head of poultry—$2.50;

(b) For each poultry farm of not less than 501 nor more than 1000 head of poultry—$5;

(c) For each poultry farm of more than 1000 head of poultry—$5 for every 1000 head of poultry or part of 1000 head of poultry.

PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order made by the Hobson County Council on the 27th day of January 1978, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order that the plants mentioned in the schedule hereto, are declared to be Noxious Weeds within the County of Hobson.

Designation of South Otago Community Arts Council

PURSUANT to section 32 (i) of the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, on the recommendation of the Southern Regional Arts Council and on the application of the South Otago Community Arts Council, the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand hereby designates the South Otago Community Arts Council to be the Community Arts Council for the following duly defined area:

To include the Kaitangata, Balclutha and Milton Boroughs, the Clutha and Bruce Counties, and that adjoining part of the Tuapeka County bounded by the Clutha River up to and including the township of Beaumont, and then to proceed in a straight line north-east until it reaches the boundary of the Taieri County.
