    the open season for game specified in the notifications referred
    to in 1 immediately above.

Notice Amending the Statistical Requirements of the Customs
Tariff of New Zealand 1978

Pursuant to subsection 2 of section 123 of the Customs
Act 1966 (as amended by section 7 of the Customs Acts
Amendment Act (No. 2) 1977), I, Peter Ian Wilkinson,
Minister of Customs, hereby amend the statistical require-
ments of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand by requiring
the addition of an alphabetical check letter after each of the
numerical codes shown in the Customs Tariff in the column
headed "Statistical Key", with effect from 1 July 1978.

The alphabetical check letter appropriate to each of the
numerical codes set out in the column headed "Statistical
Key" in the tariff will be printed in the tariff which will be
available for distribution to the public on the first day of
April 1978.

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 1 1978

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County)
    Notice No. 1 1978.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
    hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the
    purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
    hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes
    of regulation 21 (4) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

  4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are
    hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit
    areas for the purposes of regulation 21 of the Traffic Regula-
    tions 1976*.

  5. The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 2 1974, dated
    the 22nd day of January 1974†, under Section 52 of the
    Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regula-
    tions 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waimairi
    County at Marshland, Burwood, Parkland and Woodland is
    hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Situated within Waimairi County at Belfast:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from Englefield Road
to a point 120 metres measured northerly generally along the
said highway from Dickeys Road.

Belfast Road: from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)
to a point 360 metres measured easterly generally along
Belfast Road from the said highway.
