The Traffic (Kawerau Borough) Notice No. 1, 1978
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kawerau Borough) Notice No. 1, 1978.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
-
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 21(2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Kawerau Borough) Notice No. 1 1977, dated the 28th day of February 1977†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, which relates to roads situated within Kawerau Borough, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Kawerau Borough:
East Bank Road: from Tamarangi Drive to the bridge across the Tarawera River.
Fentons Mill Road: from the southern boundary of Kawerau Borough to Valley Road.
Tamarangi Drive.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Kawerau Borough:
Tamarangi Drive: from a point 50 metres measured westerly generally along the said drive from Short Street to Fletcher Avenue.

Consent to the Distribution of New Therapeutic Drugs
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drug set out in the Schedule hereto.

Motor Launch (Lake Tekapo) Notice 1978 MacKenzie County Council
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby give the following notice:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Lake Tekapo) Notice 1978.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

Subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.

Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Lake Tekapo) Notice 1975† is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that area of water at Lake Tekapo situated in Block XIII, Tekapo Survey District, bounded by lines commencing at a point on the lake edge reserve bearing 341° distance 194 m from the north-west corner of the Lake Tekapo Power Boat Water Ski Clubhouse; thence in a north-easterly direction, bearing 074° distance 500 m; thence north-easterly bearing 054° distance 370 m; thence due south bearing 180° distance 650 m; thence westerly bearing 274° distance 610 m; thence north-westerly bearing 328° distance 315 m to the point of commencement.
SECONDLY, all that area of water situated on the western side of Lake Tekapo, Block V, Tekapo Survey District, known as Orchard Bay, enclosed by a line drawn from a point situated on the lake shore bearing 050° distance 520 m from the outlet of Lake McGregor, thence southerly bearing 187° distance 900 m, meeting the opposite shore of the bay at a point bearing 152° distance 600 m from the outlet of Lake McGregor.
SECOND SCHEDULE

Two 2.5 m transit posts with a distance of 20 m between and painted with 300 mm bright orange and black bands and having a triangular top mark painted white shall be erected on land in line with the limiting line defined in the First Schedule as bearing 074° distance 500 m, the first post being sited on the lake margin at normal lake level.

Two 2.5 m transit posts with a distance of 20 m between and painted with 300 mm bright orange and black bands and having a triangular top mark painted white shall be erected on land in line with the limiting line defined in the First Schedule as bearing 274° distance 610 m, the first post being sited on the lake margin at normal lake level.

The area described firstly in the First Schedule hereto shall be shown cross hatched on a plan of the lake on a scale not less than 25 m to 10 mm which shall be displayed on the lower portion of a notice board measuring not less than 800 mm × 600 mm painted white with black lettering, which notice board shall be displayed at the place where boats are normally launched.

The upper portion of the said notice board shall contain the following notice:

MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
There is no speed restriction for motor launches and water skiers using the area shown cross hatched on the plan below.
- The area described secondly in the First Schedule to this notice shall be marked by a suitable notice board being erected at the limit of the said area. Two 2.5 m transit posts with a distance of not less than 3 m or more than 6 m between and painted with 300 mm bright orange and black bands shall be erected on land in line with the limiting line defined in the First Schedule as bearing 187° distance 900 m, the first post being sited on the lake margin at normal lake level.

Law Practitioners Act 1955
PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society on the 20th day of October 1977 ordered that the name of Jack Malcolm Moulder be struck off the Roll of Barristers and the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand and further ordered that the said Jack Malcolm Moulder pay the New Zealand Law Society such sum by way of costs as the Disciplinary Committee shall at a subsequent date determine.
