a point due west of Mt Parnassus; thence easterly along a
right line to the middle of the Waiau River; thence southerly
generally, down the middle of that river to a point in line
with the generally eastern boundary of part Section 200,
Amuri Square 88; thence southerly generally across a road,
to and along that boundary, to the north-eastern corner of
that part section; thence south-westerly generally along
the generally south-eastern boundaries of Section 89, 88, Part 87,
Part 86, Part 85, and Part 84, Amuri Square 88, to the north-
eastern side of Mount Palm Track; thence south-westerly
generally along the north-western boundary of Section 10,
Block VII, Lowry Peaks Survey District; thence south-
westcrly and easterly generally, along the north-western and
generally southern boundaries of that section, and the produc-
tion of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Mount
Palm Track; thence south-easterly generally along the middle
lines of that road, and the road which forms part of the
north-eastern boundary of Section 7, Block XI, Lowry Peaks
Survey District, to the abutment of the last-mentioned road;
thence south-westerly to the north-eastern boundary of Section
7, Block XI, Lowry Peaks Survey District; thence south-
easterly generally along that boundary and its production
across a road to the left (western) bank of the Leamington
Stream; thence south-easterly along a right line to a point
on the right (eastern) bank of that stream in line with the
north-eastern boundary of part Section 3, Block XI, Lowry
Peaks Survey District; thence south-easterly across a road,
to and along that boundary and its production to the middle
line of Lot 2 of Section 1, Block XV, Lowry Peaks Survey
District; thence easterly along that boundary and its production
to the north-western boundary of Random Spur Road, being a
point on the north-western boundary of the Huruni Riding,
hereinbefore described; thence south-
easterly generally along that boundary to the middle of the
Huruni River; thence north-westerly generally up the middle
of that river to the point of commencement.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, County of
Cheviot, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost
corner of Section 70, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District, and
proceeding south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary
of that section to the western side of Levin Road; thence
south-easterly along a right line to the south-western corner
of Lot 1, D.P. 27983; thence south-easterly along the south-
western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 27983; thence south-westerly
along that boundary, and the south-eastern boundary of
Lot 10, D.P. 1475, to the northern boundary of Section 110,
Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; thence south-easterly
along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of that
section, and north-easterly along a right line to the northern-
most corner of Section 100, Block VII, Cheviot Survey
District; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the
north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that section
to that roadside to the western side of Hall Street (No. 1
S.H.); thence south-easterly along a right line through the
northernmost corner of Section 117, Block VII, Cheviot
Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the
generally southern sides of Ward Street, Caverhill Road, and
Limestone Road, to the north-western boundary of Section 27,
Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; thence south-easterly
generally along that boundary and the generally north-western
boundary of Section 26, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District,
to the south-eastern boundary of Reserve 3169; thence easterly
along that boundary and the northern boundary of Section 40,
Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; to the north-western
side of Deer Park Road; thence south-easterly along a right
line across that road to the westernmost corner of Section 36,
Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; thence south-easterly
along the south-western boundary of that section to the
easternmost corner of Section 37, Block VII, Cheviot Survey
District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern
boundary of that section, and its production across a reserve,
McQueens Stream, and another reserve to the south-eastern
boundary of Section 37 again; thence continuing south-
westerly along that boundary, the abutment of McQueens
Road, and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 10304,
to the south-eastern corner of that lot; thence westerly along

the southern boundaries of Lots 3, 2, and 1, D.P. 10304, part
Section 43, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District, comprised in
C.T. 514/161, and Lot 1, D.P. 14114, and north-westerly
along the south-western boundaries of the last-mentioned lot
and part Section 43, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District,
comprised in C.T. 516/48, to the south-western boundary of
Section 42, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; thence north-
westerly generally along that boundary to the south-eastern
side of McQueen Road; thence southerly generally along
that bank to the south-eastern corner of Reserve 3155; thence
south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of that
reserve, the abutment of Reeves Street, the south-eastern
boundaries of Section 86, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District,
and part Reserve 3171, to the left (northern) bank of the Jed
River; thence westerly generally along that bank to the south-
eastern side of the Main North Road (No. 1 S.H.); thence
north-easterly along that roadside to the north-western corner
of part Section 82, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District, com-
prised in C.T. 603/48; thence north-westerly along a right
line, to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P.
20688, and its production to the western boundary of
Section 79, Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; thence north-
erly along that boundary and its production to the northern
side of Reeves Street; thence westerly along that roadside,
to and northerly along the eastern side of Montgomery Street,
to the north-western corner of Section 16, Block XVIII,
Town of Cheviot; thence westerly by right line across Mont-
gomery Street, to and along the southern boundary of
Section 15, Block XIII, Town of Cheviot; thence westerly
along that boundary and northerly along the eastern side
of Fergus Street, to the northernmost corner of the last-
mentioned lot; thence westerly along a right line, being the
production of the north-eastern boundary of the said
Section 6, across Fergus Street, to the eastern side of Levin
Street; thence northerly along that roadside across Seddon
and Cadman Streets, to the northernmost corner of Lot 1,
D.P. 34628, thence northerly across Ward Street by right line
to the southernmost corner of Lot 3, D.P. 1475; thence
north-westerly along the north-eastern side of Ward Street,
across Levin Street, to the westernmost corner of Section 70,
Block VII, Cheviot Survey District; thence north-easterly
along the north-western boundary of that section to the point
of commencement.

SEAWARD RIDING OF CHEVIOT COUNTY

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, County of
Cheviot, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of
the middle of the Main North Road (No. 1 S.H.) and the
Waiau River, Block I, Cheviot Survey District, and proceeding
south-easterly generally down the middle of that river, to the
mean high water mark of the sea; thence south-westerly along
the generally north-eastern boundary of Reserve 4361, being a
point on the generally north-eastern boundary of the Huruni
Riding hereinbefore described; thence north-westerly generally
along that boundary to a point on the middle line of the Main
North Road (No. 1 S.H.) in line with the south-western
boundary of part Section 8, Block XVI, Lowry Peaks Survey
District; thence north-easterly generally along that middle
line, and the middle line of Homestead Road to the left
(north) bank of the Jed River; thence south-easterly along
that bank to the westernmost corner of part Reserve 3171,
being a point on the generally southern boundary of the
Township Riding, hereinbefore described; thence north-
easterly generally and north-westerly generally along that
boundary to the junction of the middle lines of Hall Road
(No. 1 S.H.) and Ward Street; thence northerly generally
along the middle lines of Hall Road, and the Main North
Road (No. 1 S.H.) to the point of commencement.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, County of
Cheviot, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the
middle of the Waiau River in line with the generally eastern
boundary of Section 200, Amuri Square 88, in Block III,
Lowry Peaks Survey District, and proceeding easterly
generally down the middle of that river to the middle line
of the Main North Road (No. 1 S.H.) being a point on the
northern boundary of the Seaward riding hereinbefore
