MADE FOLLOWING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF A SPECIAL COMMITTEE APPOINTED UNDER SECTION 35 OF THE COUNTIES ACT 1956

Establishing a New Riding for Cheviot Township and Altering the Ridings of Seaward, Hurunui, Waiau, Lowry, and Kaiwara

NOTE: No changes to Hawkwood and Parnassus Ridings.

That the ridings of the County of Cheviot be altered to conform to the ridings shown and described in the Schedule hereto such alterations to take effect for the purposes of the next triennial election of councillors.

HURUNUI RIDING OF CHEVIOT COUNTY

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, County of Cheviot, bounded by a line, commencing at a point in the middle of the Hurunui River due west of the foot of the main spur leading to Lowry Peaks Range on the boundary between Block XV, Culverden Survey District, and Block III, Waikari Survey District, and proceeding easterly to the
