Rangihau Stream; thence up the middle of that stream, to and up the middle of Starvation Stream, to and along the northern boundary of Section 1, Block XI, Whitianga Survey District, to the easternmost corner of that section; thence generally north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Te Tipi and part Kapowai Blocks to the eastern boundary of Block VII, Whitianga Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of the said Block VII and Block XI, Whitianga Survey District, to and up the middle of the Hikuai Stream to its source; thence generally south-westerly along the summit of the main dividing range to its intersection with the northern boundary of Block I, Tairua Survey District, thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Block I and Blocks III and II, Thames Survey District, to the north-western corner of the said Block II; thence generally southerly along the western boundary of the said Block II to its south-eastern corner; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the Tararu Stream; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of that stream to its intersection with a right line between Trigs D and F in Block IV, Thames Survey District; thence north-westerly along the said right line to Trig F, aforesaid, along a right line, bearing 306° 52′, distance 854.96 metres and along a right line bearing due west to the mean high-water mark of the sea coast; thence generally northerly along the said sea coast to the point of commencement.

TAIRUA RIDING

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Thames-Coromandel District, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Te Karo Part No. 1 Block (State Forest, New Zealand Gazette, 1928, page 3121) in Block X, Whitianga Survey District, and proceeding generally southerly along the mean high-water mark of the sea coast to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Tairua Survey District; thence generally westerly to and along the northern boundary of the aforesaid and the northern boundaries of Lots 2 and 3, D.P. S. 17369 to the northern corner of the said Lot 3; thence generally southerly along the western boundaries of Lots 3, 2, and 1, D.P. S. 17369, the southern boundary of the said Lot 1, the western boundary of Section 11, Block IV, Tairua Survey District, the north-western and south-western boundaries of Section 10, Block IV, Tairua Survey District, the end and south-western side of Ohui Road, the western and southern boundaries of Section 7, Block IV, Tairua Survey District, the western side of the said Ohui Road, the northern boundaries of part Section 30, Block VIII, Tairua Survey District, the northern boundary of Section 26, Block VIII, Tairua Survey District, the western boundaries of the said Section 26, part Section 30, aforesaid, Wharekawa 15B3 Block and the northern, western, and southern boundaries of Section 5, Block VIII, Tairua Survey District, to the north-western boundary of Lot 7, D.P. S. 18277; thence southerly along that boundary to the eastern boundary of Lot 8, D.P. S. 18227, the southern and north-eastern boundaries of Lots 16, 17, and 34, D.P. S. 18227, and Lot 35 D.P. S. 18828, part Section 4, and part Section 6, Block VIII, Tairua Survey District, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the right bank of the Kapakapa Stream; thence southerly along that bank to the north western side of Opoutere Road; thence generally south-westerly along that side to the north-western boundary of Section 34, Block VIII, Tairua Survey District; thence north-westerly along that boundary, the north-western boundary of Section 17 of the said Block VIII to the northern corner of that section; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the north-western and south-western boundaries of the said Section 17, to the western boundary of an area of Crown land adjoining the western bank of the Wharekawa River; thence generally southerly along that boundary to the northern corner of Section 21, Block VIII, Tairua Survey District; thence generally southerly along the western boundaries of the said Section 21 and Section 22 of the said Block VIII and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Wharekawa River; thence generally south-westerly along the middle of that river to the eastern boundary of part Section 3, Block XI, Tairua Survey District; thence northerly along the said part Section 3, part Section 4, of the said Block XI and a right-line across Section 10 to the northernmost point of another part Section 4; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the said part Section 4, all situated in Block

VII, Tairua Survey District, and its production to the middle of a public road; thence north-westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of part Wharekawa East 3 Block as shown on S.O. 47334; thence generally westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Tairua River; thence generally northerly down the middle of that River to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Pakirarahi 1 Block; thence generally south-westerly to and along that boundary and the north-western boundaries of Pakirarahi 2B3, 2B4, and 2A4B2, and 2A4B3, to the summit of the main dividing range (Coromandel Range) thence generally northerly along the summit of that range passing through Blocks IX, V, and I, Tairua, and Block XI, Whitianga Survey Districts, to the source of the Hikuai River; thence down the middle of that river, to the eastern boundary of Block XI, Whitianga Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Blocks XI and Block VII, Whitianga Survey District, to the southern boundary of Kahuwera Block; thence generally easterly along the aforesaid southern boundary, the southern boundary of Wharepapa Block, and its production to the middle of the Kapowai River; thence generally north-easterly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of the said Wharepapa Block; thence easterly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Parakau River, in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 3834; thence generally southerly up the middle of that river and the Awahau Stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of part Whenuakite No. 2 Block; thence generally south-easterly to and along that boundary and the generally northern boundary of Section 2, Block IX, Whitianga Survey District, to the northernmost corner of the said Section 2; thence generally northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 19 and 18 of the said Block IX to the south-eastern side of Paul Road; thence generally north-easterly along that side to the northern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. S. 7942; thence easterly to and along that boundary to the western side of State Highway 25; thence south-easterly along that side to a point in line with the generally southern boundary of part Te Karo 1 Block; thence generally easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement; including therein the islands of Shoe, The Aldermen, Slipper (Whakahau), Penguin, and Rabbit.

WHANGAMATA RIDING

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Thames-Coromandel District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high-water mark of the sea coast in line with the northern boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Tairua Survey District, and proceeding generally southerly along the said mean high-water mark to the middle of the mouth of the Otahu River, being a point on the boundary of the Thames-Coromandel District as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1976, page 2671; thence generally westerly along that district boundary to the summit of the main dividing range (Coromandel Range); thence generally northerly along the summit of that range passing through Blocks II, Ohinemuri Survey District, and Blocks XIII and IX, Tairua Survey District, to its intersection with the northern boundary of Pakirarahi 2A4B3 Block being a point on the generally southern boundary of Tairua Ward hereinbefore described; thence generally easterly and generally north-easterly along that ward boundary, to and along the northern boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Tairua Survey District, and its production to the mean high-water mark of the sea coast, the point of commencement; including therein the islands of Hauturu, Whenuakura, and Rawengaiti.

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Thames-Coromandel District, bounded by a line commencing at the middle of the mouth of the Waihou River in Block VII, Thames Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the mean high-water mark of the sea coast to the right bank of the said Waihou River; thence south-easterly along the said bank to the northern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. S. 6391; thence easterly along that boundary, the northern boundaries of another part of Lot 1, D.P. S. 6391, parts Te Amo O Te Rangi 3 Block, Te Amo O Te Rangi 4C2B and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of State Highway 25; thence south-easterly along the middle of that highway to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 7840, situated in Block VIII, Thames Survey District; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along that boundary and the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to the southernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 24392; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that lot
