of that highway to a point in line with the western boundary
of Lot 42, D.P. S. 5809; thence generally southerly to and
along that boundary to the mean high-water mark of the
Whitianga Harbour; thence generally westerly and generally
southerly along the mean high-water mark to a point in line
with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 29626,
situated in Block I, Whitianga Survey District; thence
generally south-westerly to and along the said boundary and
its production to the middle of State Highway No. 25; thence
generally south-westerly along the middle of that highway to a
point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 20,
Block V, Hastings Survey District; thence generally south-
westerly to and along that boundary, the south-eastern
boundaries of Section 18, Block V, Hastings Survey District,
and Pukawa Block and the last-mentioned boundary produced
to the middle of the Maramanuiahoto Stream; thence
generally westerly up the middle of that stream and the
Piraunui Creek, to a point in line with the western boundary
of part Waiwawa Block; thence southerly along that boundary
to its intersection with a right line between the easternmost
point of Section 1, Block VII, Hastings Survey District, and
the southernmost point of Section 20, Block IV, Whitianga
Survey District; thence westerly along that right line to a
point due south of the southernmost point of the eastern
boundary of Section 7, Block XV, Coromandel Survey
District; thence due northerly to and along the aforesaid
eastern boundary of Section 7, to the southern side of a
public road; thence generally westerly along the middle of
that road to a point in line with the south-western
boundary of Section 8, Block XV, Coromandel Survey
District; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary
to the northern corner of the aforesaid Section 7, Block XV,
Coromandel Survey District; thence generally northerly along
the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XI, Coro-
mandel Survey District, the eastern boundaries of the said
Sections 5, and Section 4 and 3, Block XI, Coromandel
Survey District, the eastern boundaries of Purunui Block,
Motutere B and A Blocks, and again B Block, shown on D.P. 1503, Waiau 1B Block, Sections 9 and
10, Block VI, Coromandel Survey District, and Pukemaukuku
Block and the south-eastern boundary of part Karaka 1 Block
to the southern side of State Highway 25; thence along a
right line across that highway to the intersection of its
northern side with the eastern boundary of Karaka No. 1
Block; thence north-easterly along right lines to Trig PP,
Trig RR, both trigs situated in Block II, Coromandel Survey
District, and the easternmost corner of Harataunga 2D Block,
the point of commencement; comprising also the islands of
Koruenga, Korangi, Little Ohana, and Whale Rock.

WHITIANGA WARD

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Thames-
Coromandel District, commencing at the south-western corner
of Kuaotunu 3B Block, in Block VIII, Otama Survey District,
and proceeding generally south-westerly along the mean high-
water mark of the sea coast and the mean high-water mark
of the Whitianga Harbour to the western boundary of Lot 42,
D.P. S. 5809; thence north-westerly along that boundary and
its production to the middle of State Highway 25; thence
easterly along the middle of that highway to the middle of
Woods Road; thence generally northerly along the middle of
that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 10171; thence generally north-easterly to and along that boundary and the north-western boundary of part Kawakawa Block to and generally easterly along the generally northern bound-
aries of that Block, part Section 3, and part Section 5, Block
VII, Otama Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the
last-named section; thence easterly along a right line to the
northernmost corner of part Lot 3, D.P. 23644; thence
easterly along the northern boundary of the said part Lot 3
to the middle of the Akeaka Stream; thence generally easterly
down the middle of that stream to the middle of State High-
way to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of
Lot 5, D.P. S. 5198; thence south-easterly to and along that
boundary, and the western boundary of Kuaotunu 3B Block
to the point of commencement.

WHENUAKITE RIDING

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Thames-
Coromandel District, bounded by a line commencing at a
point on the mean high-water of the Whitianga Harbour in
in Block I, Whitianga Survey District, and proceeding
generally north-easterly and generally southerly along the
said mean high-water mark and the mean high-water mark of
the sea coast to the easternmost point of part Te Karo 1,
Block, in Block X, Whitianga Survey District (State Forest,
New Zealand Gazette, 1928, page 3121); thence generally
westerly along the southern boundary of that block, and its
production across State Highway 25 to its western side; thence
generally northerly along that side to the southern boundary
of part Te Karo 1 Block, aforesaid; thence westerly along that
boundary to the south-eastern side of Paul Road; thence
generally south-westerly along that side to the eastern
boundary of Section 18, Block IX, Whitianga Survey District;
thence generally southerly along that boundary to the south-
eastern corner of the said Section 18; thence easterly, south-
eastern, and south-western boundaries of Section 19, Block
IX, Whitianga Survey District, to the western corner of that
section; thence generally north-westerly along the northern
boundary of Section 2 of the said Block IX to the westernmost corner of
that section; thence generally northerly along the south-
western boundary of part Whenuakite No. 2 Block and its
production to the middle of the Awahau Stream; thence
generally northerly down the middle of that stream and the
middle of the Parakau River to a point in line with the
southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 3834; thence easterly
along a right line to a point in the middle of the Kapowai
River in line with the north-eastern boundary of Wharepapa
Block in Block VIII, Whitianga Survey District; thence
generally south-westerly up the middle of the said Kapowai
River to a point in line with the northern boundary of part
Kapowai Block; thence generally south-westerly along that
boundary and the western boundaries of that block and Te
Tipi Block and the northern boundary of Section 1, Block XI,
Whitianga Survey District, to the middle of the Starvation
Stream; thence generally northerly down the middle of that
stream and the middle of the Rangihau Stream to a point in
line with the northern boundary of Section 1, Block XI,
Whitianga Survey District aforesaid; thence westerly to and
along that boundary, the northern boundary of Section 1,
Block XVI, Hastings Survey District, to and generally north-
erly and generally westerly along the western and northern
boundaries of Section 3, Block XIII, Hastings Survey District,
and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of
the Waiwawa River; thence down the middle of that river
to a point in line with the southernmost corner of Section 20,
Block IV, Whitianga Survey District, and the easternmost
corner of Section 1, Block VII, Hastings Survey District;
thence westerly to and along the western boundary of part
Waiwawa Block; thence generally north-easterly along the
aforesaid western boundary and its production to the middle
of the Piraunui Creek; thence down the middle of that creek
and the Maramanuiahoto Stream to a point in line with the
north-western boundary of the Waipaheke Block; thence
north-easterly to and along that boundary, the south-eastern
boundaries of Sections 18 and 20, Block V, Hastings Survey
District, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the
middle of State Highway 25; thence generally northerly along
the middle of that highway to a point in line with the north-
western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 29626; thence generally
north-easterly to and along that boundary and its production
to the point of commencement.

THAMES DIVISION—HASTINGS WARD

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Thames-
Coromandel District, bounded by a line commencing at a
point in the middle of the mouth of the Waikawau River
in Block VI, Hastings Survey District, and proceeding easterly
up the middle of the aforesaid Waikawau River to its
intersection with a right line between the easternmost corner
of Section 1, Block VII, Hastings Survey District, and the
southernmost corner of Section 20, Block IV, Whitianga
Survey District; thence easterly along that right line, and its
production to the middle of the Waiwawa River; thence up the
middle of that river to a point in line with the northern
boundary of Section 3, Block XIII, Hastings Survey District;
thence generally easterly and generally southerly along the
generally northern and eastern boundaries of Section 3, afore-
said, to and generally easterly along the generally northern
boundaries of Section 1, Block XVI, Hastings Survey District,
and Section 1, Block XI, Whitianga Survey District, and the
last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the
