The Huntly Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1977
PURSUANT to the Local Licensing Trusts Regulations,* the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Huntly Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1977.

There is hereby constituted a local licensing trust, to be called the Huntly Licensing Trust.

(i) The first election of members of the Trust shall be on Saturday, 8 October 1977.
(ii) The returning officer for the first election of members of the trust shall be Ronald George Collins, Town Manager for the Huntly Borough Council.

The area within which polls shall be taken for elections of members of the trust shall be the whole of the area described in the Schedule to this notice.
-
The area within which the Trust shall distribute its profits shall be the whole of the area described in the Schedule to this notice.

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District containing 980 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Allotment 14, Taupiri Parish, in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along the south-western side of Russells Road to a point 85.90 metres from the said northernmost corner; thence north-easterly along a right line across that road to the northernmost corner of part Lot 23, D.P. 23455; thence generally south-easterly along the south-western boundary of part Allotment 15, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 631, folio 258, along a right line across Ralphs Road to and along the south-western boundary of Allotment 463B, Taupiri Parish, the north-eastern boundaries of parts Allotments 11 and 6, Taupiri Parish, the north-eastern boundary of Lot 44, D.P. S. 6216, and a right line across McVie Road to the northern corner of Allotment 745, Taupiri Parish; thence south-westerly, south-easterly, and north-easterly along the north-western, south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that allotment to its eastern corner; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of part Allotment 5, Taupiri Parish, to the easternmost corner of that allotment; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of the said part Allotment 5 and Lots 41 and 37, D.P. S. 1158, and the last-mentioned boundary produced across Kimiha Road to the easternmost corner of Allotment 690, Taupiri Parish, along the south-eastern boundaries of that allotment, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. S. 18743, Lot 1, D.P. S. 13319, and the last-mentioned boundary to the intersection of the western side of Russells Road with the northern side of Kimiha Road and the westernmost corner of Allotment 780, Taupiri Parish; thence south-easterly along the said right line to the westernmost corner of Allotment 780 aforesaid and along another right line to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 10711; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P. S. 10711 to the eastern corner of the said Lot 2; thence generally southerly along the generally eastern boundaries of that Lot, part Lot 5, D.P. 31041, and the former Lot 1, D.P. 32379, and the last-mentioned boundary produced across part Allotment 463, Taupiri Parish, to the north-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. S. 10792; thence generally westerly along that boundary, the northern boundary of Lot 17, D.P. 20686 and that boundary produced across Upland Road and Lot 14, D.P. 29455, to and along the eastern end of a public road to the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 11170; thence southerly along the said eastern boundary, the eastern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 28445; Lots 158, 159, 160, 161, 162, 163 and 164, D.P. 350; the eastern end of Jackson’s Road, Lots 5 and 4, D.P. 875; Lots 2, 3, and part 4, D.P. 23589; Lot 2, D.P. 35495; Lots 6 and part 7, D.P. 23589, to the south-eastern corner of the said Part Lot 7; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that lot, to and along the southern end of a public road, a right line crossing the North Island Main Trunk Railway, State Highway No. 1, to and along the southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S. 1463, and Lot 1, D.P. S. 2873, and that last-named boundary produced to the middle of the Waikato River; thence north-westerly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 25266; thence westerly to and along the said southern boundary to the south-western corner of the said Lot 2; thence northerly along the western boundary of that lot and its production across a closed road to the western boundary of part Allotment 9, Pepepe Parish, as shown on D.P. 15829 to the northern corner of the said part Allotment 9; thence easterly along a right line to the westernmost corner of Lot 68, D.P. 7295; thence generally northerly along the north-western and western boundaries of the said lot and Lots 67, 66, 65, 64, 63, and 61, D.P. 7295, to the north-western corner of the last-named lot; thence northerly along a right line to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 858; thence north-westerly along the production of the south-western boundary of the said Lot 1 across the Glen Arton Branch Railway and Paki Street to a point 50.29 metres distant from and measured at right angles to the north-western side of the said road; thence north-easterly along a right line parallel to the said roadside to the western corner of Lot 19, D.P. S. 6662; thence north-westerly, generally northerly and generally easterly along the south-western and generally western boundaries of the land shown A on S.O. 48451 being part Allotments 44 and 45, Pepepe Parish, the western and northern boundaries of the land shown B on S.O. 48452 being part Allotment 44, Pepepe Parish, and the western and northern boundaries of the land shown A on the said S.O. 48452, being part Lot 1, D.P. 26921, and part Allotments 43, and 44, Pepepe Parish, to the western corner of Lot 11, D.P. S. 2830; thence north-westerly along the north-western boundary of part Allotment 43, Pepepe Parish, and its production to the middle of the Waahi Stream; thence generally north-easterly and generally south-easterly down the middle of that stream to its confluence with the Waikato River; thence northerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 10620; thence easterly to and along the said northern boundary and a right line across State Highway 1 to and south-easterly along the south-western side of Russells Road to the point of commencement.
Setting apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a recreation and cultural centre for the common use and benefit of the descendants of the original owners and the Maori people of Kakanui.

Declaring Additional Maori Freehold Land to be Included in a Maori Reservation
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be included in the existing Maori reservation known as Rangatahi marae, constituted by notice dated 23 May 1974 and published in the Gazette, No. 53, on 30 May 1974, page 1085.
