Directing the Sale of Land in Block XIII, Akatarawa Survey District, Hutt County
DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of July 1977 Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purposes for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT ALL that piece of land containing 8.6 perches, situated in Block XIII, Akatarawa Survey District, being part Section 806, Hutt District; as shown on plan S.O. 28495, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue. Alteration of Boundaries—Mangonui County and Kaitaia Borough DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of August 1977 Present: His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. This order shall come into force on the 12th day of August 1977.
  2. The boundaries of Mangonui County and Kaitaia Borough shall be altered by excluding from the district of Mangonui County and including in the district of Kaitaia Borough the areas described in the First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Schedules to this order.
    FIRST SCHEDULE ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Mangonui County, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 41925, in Block I, Takahue Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of that Lot 2 and Lot 1, D.P. 41925, the last boundary produced across State Highway No. 1 to and northerly along its eastern side to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 24413; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 13043, to and southerly along the left bank of the Whangatane Spillway to a point 70 metres distant from and perpendicular to the northern side of Donald Road; thence along a right line bearing 76° distance 145 metres, and along another right line bearing 44° distance 125 metres and north-easterly along a right line to the western-most corner of Lot 1, D.P. 46562; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of that Lot 1, Lot 1, D.P. 46236, Lots 2 to 10 inclusive, D.P. 46562, to the easternmost corner of that Lot 10; thence along a right line bearing 80° distance 124 metres and north-easterly along a right line to the southern-most corner of Lot 1, D.P. 43502, and due east across a public road to and southerly along the eastern side of that road and along a right line across Donald Road to and along the western boundary of Allotment 18, Awanui Parish, to and along the eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 9413, to the easternmost corner of that part Lot 23, D.P. 405, comprised in certificate of title, No. 1903/40; thence southerly along a right line across another part Lot 23, D.P. 405, to the easternmost corner of Lot 5, Land Transfer Plan 15252; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that Lot 5, to and south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of that part Lot 23, D.P. 405, comprised in certificate of title, No. 1903/40, to the northern side of Tahuna Road; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of Lot 23, D.P. 405, to and along the western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 9413,
    to the southern side of Donald Road; thence westerly along that southern side to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 5, Deeds Plan 678; thence northerly along a right line across Donald Road to and along that eastern boundary to and south-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 5, parts Old Land Claim 214 comprised in certificate of title, No. 756/95, and No. 1096/241, Lots 4 and 1, Deeds Plan 678, and the last boundary produced across State Highway No. 1 to its western side; thence north-westerly along that western side to and westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 41925, to and northerly generally along the western boundaries of the said Lot 2 to the point of commencement.
    SECOND SCHEDULE ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Mangonui County, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 39305, in Block V, Takahue Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 40904, and that boundary produced across Tahuna Road to and northerly generally along the western side of that road to the road angle opposite the south-eastern corner of Lot 6, Land Transfer Plan 15252; thence north-easterly along a right line across Tahuna Road to that south-eastern corner; thence southerly generally along the eastern side of that road to a roadside angle 29.35 metres distant north-easterly from the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 40904; thence along a line bearing 134° to the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 39305; thence south-westerly along that north-western boundary to the point of commencement. And all that area in the North Auckland Land District, Mangonui County, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of part Old Land Claim 242 as comprised in certificate of title, No. 1652/26, in Block V, Takahue Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along a right line across Church Road, perpendicular to its southern side, to and westerly generally along the northern side of that road to the road angle on the southern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 60890; thence south-westerly along a right line across Church Road to the northernmost corner of Lot 4, D.P. 33850; thence easterly generally along the southern side of that road to the point of commencement.
    THIRD SCHEDULE ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Mangonui County, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 46761, in Block V, Takahue Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Lots 1 to 8 inclusive, D.P. 46761, along a right line to and along the south-western boundaries of Lots 9 to 13 inclusive, D.P. 46761, and the last boundary produced across part Allotment 99, Ahipara Parish, to the western side of Okahu Road; thence along a right line perpendicular to the roadside across that road to and northerly and westerly generally along its generally north-eastern side to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 46761; thence south-westerly along a right line across Okahu Road to and along that north-western boundary to the point of commencement.
    FOURTH SCHEDULE ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Mangonui County, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 29645, in Block V, Takahue Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of that Lot 2 and Lot 1, D.P. 45199, and the last boundary produced across Lots 3 and 2, D.P. 64773, to its intersection with the northern boundary of that Lot 2; thence along a right line across Lot 1, D.P. 64773, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 3, 2, and 1, D.P. 47618, and the last boundary produced across Lot 1, D.P. 61705, to and north-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 81, Ahipara Parish, and the production of that boundary across the Kaitaia-Motukaraka Road and Allotment 106, Ahipara Parish, to the north-western boundary of that Allotment 106; thence south-westerly along that north-western boundary to and south-easterly along the south-western boundary of that Allotment 106 to and south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Allotment 107, Ahipara Parish, to and south-easterly along the south-western boundary of that Allotment 107 to and south-westerly along the north-western side of the Kaitaia-Motukaraka Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 29645; thence south-easterly along a right line across the Kaitaia-Motukaraka Road to and along that south-western boundary to the point of commencement.
