Road to include the whole of Lot 15, D.P. 24639, within the Yaldhurst riding. This will result in the boundary being re-positioned along the dividing line between Lots 15 and 16.

(b) Yaldhurst/Islington/Hornby Boundary

The existing boundary presently lying a section-depth along the west side of Gilberthorpes Road to be repositioned along the centre-line of Gilberthorpes Road from Buchanans Road in a southerly direction to Foremans Road.

The new boundary is then to continue along the centre-line of Foremans Road until it links up with the existing boundary. The boundary between Yaldhurst riding and Islington riding lying between Buchanans and Roberts Roads is to be extended to the centre-line of Gilberthorpes Road to meet the new boundary.

NOTE: The effect of this alteration will be to transfer those properties along the western side of Gilberthorpes Road, presently lying in Hornby, to Yaldhurst and Islington ridings.

(c) Islington/Hornby Boundaries

(a) The existing boundary presently running through the sections on the east side of Montague Street, from Foremans Road to the Main South Road, be repositioned along the rear boundary line of these properties. The properties affected are Lots 28, 29, D.P. 30537; Lot 1, D.P. 5122; Lots 33–39, D.P. 25070; Lots 26–28, D.P. 25071, and Lot 3, D.P. 14500.

NOTE: This amendment will have the effect of placing properties on the east side of Montague Street wholly within the Islington riding.

(b) The existing boundary presently dissecting sections in Loreto Place and Denise Crescent be repositioned to enter Loreto Place along the boundary between Lots 28 and 29, D.P. 305, and thence along the centre-line of Loreto Place and Denise Crescent to Skerten Avenue.

NOTE: This adjustment will have the effect of transferring those properties presently within both ridings wholly into Hornby.

(c) The existing boundary presently lying a section-depth along the east side of Skerten Avenue be repositioned along the centre line of Skerten Avenue to link up with the existing boundary along the centre-line of Shands Road.

NOTE: This adjustment will have the effect of transferring those properties along the north-eastern side of Skerten Avenue, presently in Islington, into Hornby.

(d) Halswell Community Council/Halswell Rural Riding Boundary

The boundary of the Halswell Community Council is extended to include the area zoned General Development ‘A’.

NOTE: This area lies between Dunbars Road, Halswell Junction Road and the proposed Ellesmere Expressway.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, County of Paparua, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle lines of Yaldhurst and Racecourse Roads and proceeding south-easterly generally along the middle lines of Yaldhurst Road, Riccarton Road, Hansons Lane, and Blenheim Road to a point in line with the original middle line of Annex Road; thence south-easterly to and along that original middle line and a line parallel to and 5 metres north-east of the south-western boundary of Rural Section 39075, and the production of the last-mentioned line to the middle of that road, to and north-westerly along the middle of Halswell Junction Road, to and north-easterly along the original middle line of Springs Road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Rural Section 1239, being the southernmost point on the boundary of the Hornby Riding hereinbefore described; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of that riding and the south-eastern boundary of the Yaldhurst Riding hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.
