Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

Amendment to the Rules of the Royal Society of New Zealand

Pursuant to the Royal Society of New Zealand Act 1965, the fellows of the Royal Society of New Zealand, at the annual general meeting held on 18 May 1977, passed a resolution amending the rules of the society, published in the New Zealand Gazette on 22 December 1965, the effect of such resolution being

The word “eight” in the second and fifth lines of Rule B9 and the last line of Rule B10 was changed to “six”.

Registration Office of the Ohura Branding Registration District
Appointed (Notice No. 1735 Ag. 6/8/2/2)

Pursuant to subsection 2 of section 70 of the Animals Act 1967, and to a delegation from the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the said section 70, the Acting Director, Animal Health Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, hereby appoints the Borough of Taumarunui, in lieu of the Borough of Te Kuiti, as the place at which the registration office for the Ohura Branding Registration District shall, as from the date hereof, be situated.

Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976

Pursuant to the provisions of regulation 18 (3) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the following code is declared suitable for the purpose of the regulations for use with natural gas pipelines under clause 49 of the Petroleum Amendment Act 1962. (This Act specifically excludes a pipeline any pipe or main owned or operated by a gas undertaking.)

SPECIAL ORDER

SPECIAL ORDER of the Paparua County Council, made by the passing of a resolution at a special meeting of the Council held in the Council Chambers, Sockburn, on Monday, 4 April 1977, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting held in the Council Chambers, Sockburn, on Monday 2 May 1977.

RESOLVED:

That the following adjustments be made to the riding boundaries within the county:

(a) Yaldhurst/Hornby/Sockburn Boundary

The existing boundary presently lying a section depth along the north side of Buchanans Road be repositioned along the centre-line of Buchanans Road from the point where the boundary crosses Buchanans Road in a westerly direction to Gilberthorpes Road.

Note: This will result in the properties encompassed within the narrow strip along Buchanans Road being transferred from Hornby to Yaldhurst riding. In addition a further small alteration is required where the joint boundary crosses Buchanans
