Appointment of Examiners under the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the City of Tauranga for a Secondary School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a secondary school the land described in the Schedule hereto such land to be used for Tauranga No. 4 Secondary School; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3.6197 hectares, situated in Block XIV, Tauranga Survey District, being Poike 1C2 Block; as shown on plan 2/540/1/3204/1 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon edged in red. The said piece of land is situated between the Maori roadway and the land taken for the Tauranga–Te Maunga motorway now used as an extension of State Highway No. 29 in the vicinity of Poike Road.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve
