Redefining Purpose of Maori Reservation

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the purpose for which the Maori Reservation was, in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, created by notice in New Zealand Gazette, No. 66, 14 August 1975, page 1811, is hereby redefined to be a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Wi Hopihana.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land, situated in Block VII, Opoe Survey District, and described as follows:

4046 Maxwell’s Grant, Lot 8, being all of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 12D, folio 321.

Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1977, No. 37.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Notice of Acquisition of Public Reserve by the Crown

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act, 1953, notice is hereby given that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been acquired as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of Part IV of the said Act, to form part of the Eskdale Bush Scenic Reserve to be administered as a scenic reserve by the North Shore Scenic Board.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Clutha Licensing Trust

PURSUANT to section 34B (10) of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Clutha Licensing Trust on 31 March 1977 passed a resolution authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below:

(a) On every Saturday and Christmas Eve (not being New Year’s Eve nor days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of closing shall be 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every New Year’s Eve (not being a day when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of closing shall be 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Oamaru Licensing Trust

PURSUANT to section 34B (10) of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Oamaru Licensing Trust on 16 March 1977 passed a resolution authorising variations of the usual hours of sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises specified in the Schedule below:

(a) On every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, nor days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On every Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve, nor days when licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public) the hour of opening shall be 11 o’clock in the morning and the hour of closing 11 o’clock in the evening.
