Resumption of Unformed Road in Blocks XIV and XV, Ohinemuri Survey District

PURSUANT to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Ohinemuri County Council, pursuant to the said section 191B, and as from the date of this notice shall be declared to be Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Appointment of the Manawatu Catchment Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Manawatu Catchment Board to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for local purpose (soil conservation and river control).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1977.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 4, 1971, dated the 3rd day of August 1971†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated in Whangarei County, is hereby revoked.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the southern boundary of Hikurangi Town District to a point 350 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary.

The Traffic (Hikurangi Town District) Notice No. 1, 1977

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hikurangi Town District) Notice No. 1, 1977.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

4. The Traffic (Hikurangi Town District) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 4th day of March 1971†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Hikurangi Town District, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hikurangi Town District at Waro:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the northern boundary of Hikurangi Town District to a point 1500 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hikurangi Town District at Waro:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 240 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the northern boundary of Hikurangi Town District to a point 1500 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary.
