PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Works and Development hereby

(a) declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having
been entered into, the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river
control purposes, from and after the 16th day
of June 1977; and
(b) further declares the land described in the said Schedule
to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as
from the 16th day of June 1977.

Amending a Notice Declaring Road in Block X, Moeangiangi
Survey District, to be a Government Road and to be Stopped

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice,
dated the 2nd day of March 1977, published in Gazette,
No. 34, 24 March 1977, at page 909 declaring road in Block
X, Moeangiangi Survey District, to be a Government road
and to be stopped, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928,
by omitting the word "being" in the first line of the Schedule
and substituting the words "adjoining or passing through".
