Cancelling the Reservation of Maori Freehold Land

NOTICE is hereby given, that pursuant to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of Maori freehold land, described in the Schedule hereto, constituted by notice dated 10 March 1977, published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 31, 17 March 1977, page 647, is hereby cancelled.

Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice, Whangarei, 1977, No. 32.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas by reason of change of area on survey it is considered necessary to replace the notice aforesaid.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice, Whangarei, 1977, No. 34.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked, being replaced to the extent necessary by Maori Land Development notices, Whangarei 1977, No. 35 and 36.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of New Zealand, such reservation to be known as the Papoto Wahitapu.
