Dangerous Goods Act 1974 : Approval of Remote Submersible Petrol Pump Units

PURSUANT to section 30 of the Dangerous Goods Act 1974, the Chief Inspector hereby approves, subject to the conditions set out hereunder, the modification to any approved pump unit by replacement of the conventional type pump at the base of the dispensing unit with a remote submersible type pump of one of the following approved types:

Franklin Submersible Fuel Transfer Pump.

Red Jacket Submersible Pump for Gasoline.

CONDITIONS

  1. The submersible pump is to be fitted and used only in situations where insufficient lift of the product is available from the conventional type pump and is subject to the prior approval of an inspector of dangerous goods.

  2. The pit for fittings or piping manifolds of the submersible pump shall be provided with a cover of adequate strength to protect the fittings, piping and tank from damage.

Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee Elections (No. 1698 Ag. 61338)

PURSUANT to the Second Schedule of the Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1976, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of four producers’ representatives to the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz., Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Head Office, Wellington, Nelson and Blenheim; also at the following post offices, viz., Motueka, Upper Moutere, Wakefield, Brightwater, Nelson, Tapawera, Tadmor, and Blenheim.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from 26 May 1977.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Nelson, not later than noon on the 13th day of July 1977.

Redefining Purpose of Maori Reservation

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the purposes for which the Maori reservation was, in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, created by notice in New Zealand Gazette, No. 67, 7 September 1922, are hereby redefined to be for the common use and benefit of the owners thereof as a burial ground, fishing ground, meeting place, marae, camping site, recreation ground, and place of historical interest.

Tongariro National Park Board Parking Places Bylaw 1976

PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the National Parks Act 1952, the Tongariro National Park Board makes the following bylaw prescribing conditions and fixing charges for the use of parking places appropriated as such by the Board pursuant to the said Act.

BYLAW

  1. This bylaw may be cited as the Tongariro National Park Parking Places Bylaw 1976.

  2. In this bylaw, unless inconsistent with the context:
    “Board” means the Tongariro National Park Board:
    “Driver” includes the person in charge of any vehicle:
    “Officer” has the meaning given to it by section 52 of the National Parks Act 1952:
    “Parking Place” means a parking place or parking places appropriated by the Board under section 28 (1) (i) of the National Parks Act 1952 for the parking of vehicles:
