Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of Lower Hutt City and Petone Borough
It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the areas described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the area of Petone Borough and be included in the area of Lower Hutt City.
All persons affected, who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries, are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against the proposed alteration, with the Minister of Local Government, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
ALL those parcels of land, situate in the land district of Wellington, and in Block VIII of the Belmont Survey District, first, containing 35 acres 2 roods 33.4 perches, more or less (14.4508 hectares), being Sections 51 and 53, and part Section 52, Normandale Settlement, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 472, folio 213 (Wellington Registry);
Secondly, 140 acres and 9 perches, more or less (56.6787 hectares) being Sections 45, 47, 48, and 49, Normandale Settlement, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 533, folio 226 (Wellington Registry);
And thirdly, 16 acres and 13 perches, more or less (6.5079 hectares) being part Section 55, Normandale Settlement, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 311, folio 299 (Wellington Registry).

Boundaries of the City of Manukau Altered
It is hereby notified that, pursuant to section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the boundaries of the City of Manukau are hereby altered, by including within the city land reclaimed from the Tamaki riverbed, and described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Firstly, all that piece of reclaimed Crown land, situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, North Auckland Land District, containing 520 square metres, as shown on plan S.O. 51642, M.D. 15798.
Secondly, all that piece of reclaimed Crown land, situated in Block IV, Otahuhu Survey District, North Auckland Land District, containing 167 square metres, as shown on plan S.O. 51371, M.D. 15794.

Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand: Designation of Administrative Local Authority for Nortaf Community Arts Council
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, I hereby designate the Whangarei City Corporation to be the administrative local authority in respect of the Nortaf Community Arts Council.

Patea High School Board of Governors Notice 1977
PURSUANT to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:
NOTICE
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Patea High School Board of Governors Notice 1977.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1977.
- There shall be a board of governors for Patea High School which shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Wanganui Education Board;
(b) Five members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
(c) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
(d) One member appointed by the Patea Borough Council;
(e) One member appointed by the Patea County Council;
(f) Two members appointed by the school committees of the Alton State Primary School, the Hurleyville State Primary School, the Kakaramea State Primary School, the Manutahi State Primary School, the Patea State Primary School, the St. Joseph’s Primary School, and the Whenuakura State Primary School.
- The Wanganui Education Board shall cease to control Patea High School and sole control of the school shall be vested in the board of governors constituted by clause 2 of this notice.

Gear Point Secondary School Board of Governors Notice 1977
PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:
NOTICE
- (i) This notice may be cited as the Gear Point Secondary School Board of Governors Notice 1977.
(ii) This notice shall come into force on the first day of June 1977.
- The constitution of the Gear Point Secondary School Board of Governors shall be as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education Board;
(b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
(c) Seven members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
(d) Two members to be co-opted by the board itself, if and when it thinks fit.

Southland College Board of Governors Notice 1977
PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:
NOTICE
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Southland College Board of Governors Notice 1977.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1977.
- The Board of Governors of Southland College shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Southland Education Board;
(b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
(c) Nine members of whom at least one shall be a woman elected by the parents of pupils attending the school.
- The Southland College Board of Governors Notice 1973* is hereby revoked.
