Constitution of the Thames–Coromandel Hydatids Control District (Notice No. 1689 D/2-58/6)

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 12th day of April 1977.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. B. E. TALBOYS PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (i) This order may be cited as the Thames–Coromandel Hydatids Control District Order 1977.
(ii) This order shall come into force on 1 April 1977.

The area comprising the Thames–Coromandel District, as from time to time constituted, is hereby declared to be a hydatids control district to be called the Thames–Coromandel Hydatids Control District.

The Thames–Coromandel District Council is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for the Thames–Coromandel Hydatids Control District.

The notice published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 62, 8 October 1964, page 1768, is hereby amended by omitting from the First Schedule reference to and the description of the area of the Thames–Coromandel Hydatids Committee, and omitting from the Second Schedule reference to and the description of the membership of the Thames–Coromandel Eradication Committee.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (i) This order may be cited as the Pests of Local Importance Order 1977, No. 2.
(ii) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The onossum is hereby declared a pest of local importance in the Buller County, Waipa County and East Coast Pest Destruction Districts.

Redefined Boundaries of Fiordland National Park

PURSUANT to section 10 (8) of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby redefines the boundaries of Fiordland National Park in accordance with the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND AND OTAGO LAND DISTRICTS, LAKE, FIORD AND WALLACE COUNTIES
ALL that area in the Southland and Otago Land Districts, Lake, Fiord, and Wallace Counties, containing 1,212,000 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Stripe Point on the southern boundary of Wilmot Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly along the mean high-water mark of the sea, and crossing the mouth of the Hollyford River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 17, Block I, Martins Bay Survey District; thence due east to and along that boundary and due south along the eastern boundary of Section 17 aforesaid, to the northern boundary of Section 15; thence easterly along that boundary to the north-east corner of Section 15; thence generally southerly along the generally easterly boundaries of Sections 15, 12, 9, 14, and 13 to the south-eastern corner of Section 13; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections 13 and 4 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the western side of an unnamed road intersecting the said Section 4; thence again westerly along the southern boundary of Section 4 and its production to the right bank of the Hollyford River; thence southerly along that bank to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 6; thence generally easterly to and along the generally northern boundaries of Sections 6 and 8 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the eastern side of an unnamed road intersecting the said Section 8; thence westerly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 8 to the north-western corner of Section 16; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 43, 65, and 66, and southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 66 and the production of that boundary to the northern boundary of Section 68; thence easterly along that boundary and southerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 68, and 67 to the south-eastern corner of Section 67, to and southerly along the southern boundary of Section 67, to and westerly along the eastern boundary of Section 64 to the southern boundary of Section 63; thence southerly along that boundary to the northern boundary of Section 37; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 37, 39, and 40, and southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 40 to its south-eastern corner; thence due east to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 22, Block II, Martins Bay Survey District; thence due south to the south-western corner of Section 22 and easterly along the southern boundary of that section to its south-eastern corner; thence south-easterly along a right line between that corner and Trig ZO, Martins Bay Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to the north-western corner of Run 472; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Run 472 and its production to the left (east) bank of the Pyke River; thence generally north-easterly along the left bank of the Pyke and Forgotten Rivers to a point in line with the continuation of a leading ridge dividing the watersheds of the Pyke River and the Olivine Branch of the Forgotten River at the northern end of the Bryneira Range; thence generally south-easterly to and along the said ridge and generally south-westerly along the watershed, aforesaid, passing through Alabaster Pass, Courtenay Peak, and Welshman to an unnamed peak in the Bryneira Range; thence generally south-easterly along the ridge dividing the watersheds of the Olivine Branch of the Forgotten River and the Hidden Falls Creek passing through Cow Saddle to Niobe Peak; thence generally south-westerly along the watershed between the Hollyford and Dart Rivers, passing through Poseidon Peak, Park Pass, Nereus, North Col. Conical Hill, Harris Saddle, Trig N Ocean Peak, Emily Pass, to Emily Peak; thence generally south-westerly along the main ridge of the Ailsa Mountains to a point on the bush edge approximately 500 metres due east from the head of Lake McKellar; thence generally southerly along that bush edge to the northern boundary of Run 756; thence due west to the western boundary of Run 756 as shown on S.O. Plan 18471, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Dunedin; thence generally southerly along the generally western boundaries of Run 756 and part Run 431 as shown on the said plan, to the East Branch of the Eglington River; thence generally south-westerly along the left bank of the East Branch of the Eglington River to the southernmost corner of part Run 431, situated in Clinton-side Survey District; thence north-easterly along the Otago-Southland Land District boundary to the bush edge; thence generally south-westerly along the bush edge to a point due west of Winton Peak; thence due west to the eastern boundary of part Run 394; thence generally westerly along the generally northern boundary of part Run 394 and its production to the western side of No. 94 State Highway; thence generally south-westerly along the generally north-western boundaries of part Run 394, as shown on S.O. plan 6251, Southland Land District, to the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 5999, Block III, Eglington Survey District; thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of that lot to the north-western corner of Section 4, Block III, aforesaid; thence southerly along the western boundary of Section 4, aforesaid, to the western side of No. 94 State Highway; thence southerly along the western side of that highway to
