A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Patea as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect, on and after the 6th day of April 1977.

Whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for street diversion purposes and vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch by Declaration, dated the 13th day of September 1974 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 October 1974, at page 2076, registered in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as Gazette Notice 14196/1:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the said land is hereby set apart, as from the 6th day of April 1977, for housing purposes.
