Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as substituted by section 22 of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 25 November 1977 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public, and further authorised the following hours of trading for the licensed premises known as Patumahoe Hotel, Patumahoe:
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve): Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) and on Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
On New Year’s Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Hours of Attendance—Magistrate’s Court, Milton
PURSUANT to Rule 10 (3) of the Magistrate’s Courts’ Rules 1948, the Minister of Justice has approved that with effect from 1 December 1977, the office of registrar of the Magistrate’s Court at Balclutha also be the office of the Magistrate’s Court at Milton, and
In accordance with Rule 11 (2) of the Rules, the hours of attendance at Milton, be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday of every second week, and
That the hours of attendance at Balclutha, be amended to provide that the office shall be closed between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on those days.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve): Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) and on Christmas Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
On New Year’s Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 12 o’clock midnight.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve): Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
On any Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening, but during the period from 10 o’clock in the evening to 11 o’clock in the evening the said premises shall only be open in respect of that bar known as “the Diploma Bar”.

On any Friday and Saturday: Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Revocation of Order to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Otago Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as substituted by section 22 of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Otago Licensing Committee on 21 June 1977 made the following order in respect of the hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Southern Cross Hotel, Dunedin:
Upon application by Southern Cross Hotel (Dunedin) Ltd., the holder of a hotel premises licence for the premises at High Street, Dunedin, known as “The Southern Cross Hotel”, it is hereby ordered that the order made by the Licensing Control Commission on the 5th day of February 1969 (whereby the usual hours for the sale of liquor to the public from the said hotel premises were varied), be revoked and a further order restoring the usual hours for sale of liquor to the public from the said hotel premises.
