PURSUANT to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, I hereby designate the Auckland City Council to be the administrative local authority in respect of the Auckland Festival Society and Community Arts Council.

Notice directing that Orira Cemetery be Closed and Management thereof vested in the Hokianga County Council
PURSUANT to section 41 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Minister of Health hereby directs that Orira cemetery, being the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued from and after the 31st day of May 1978; also hereby vests the control and management of the closed Orira cemetery in the Hokianga County Council as from the 31st day of May 1978.

The Traffic (Whakatane District Council) Notice No. 2, 1977
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane District Council) Notice No. 2, 1977.
- The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 21 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
- The Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice No. 1, 1977, dated the 23rd day of May 1977β , under Section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, which relates to roads situated within Whakatane District at Whakatane, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Whakatane District at Whakatane:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point where the western side of No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) crosses the southern side of the Whakatane River; thence westerly and south-easterly generally along the eastern side of the Whakatane River to a point due west of the most southern extremity of Te Tahi Street; thence due east to the western side of No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne); thence northerly generally along the western side of the said State highway to a point 40 metres measured southerly generally along the western side of the said State highway from its eastern side; thence northerly generally along the eastern side of Mokorua Gorge Road; then easterly generally along the southern side of Mokorua Gorge Road to a point 240 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway from its southern side to its northern side; thence easterly generally along the northern side of Mokorua Gorge Road to Wedgewood Place; thence due north to the eastern side of the Whakatane River; thence westerly and south-westerly generally along the eastern side of the Whakatane River to the commencing point.
