Resumption of Unformed Legal Road in Block XI, Waitaha Survey District: Westland County
PURSUANT to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Westland County Council, pursuant to the said section 191B, and as from the date of this notice the land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Variation of the Northland Community College Notice 1977
PURSUANT to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby varies the First Schedule to the Northland Community College Notice 1977 as follows:
(1) By substituting “Kaikohe Borough Council” for “Okaihau Borough Council;” and
(2) By adding the following: “Hikurangi Town Council.”

Privileges and Immunities of Representatives and their Staff attending the Fifth Commonwealth Medical Conference
WHEREAS the Fifth Commonwealth Medical Conference is to be held in Wellington from 15 November to 25 November 1977;
And whereas this meeting will be attended by representatives of the Government of New Zealand, the Governments of other States and the Governments of territories for whose international relations another Government is responsible;
And whereas it appears that doubts may arise as to the privileges and immunities which may be enjoyed by representatives and members of their official staffs attending the said meeting;
Now, Therefore, pursuant to section 11 of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968, the Minister of Foreign Affairs hereby directs that every representative of the said Governments (other than the Government of New Zealand) and the members of their official staffs attending the said meeting shall be accorded the following privileges and immunities:
(a) Every representative of the said Governments (other than the Government of New Zealand) shall be accorded the privileges and immunities conferred by or by virtue of Part I of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 on a diplomatic agent; and
(b) All the members of the official staff of any such representative shall be accorded the privileges and immunities conferred by or by virtue of Part I of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 on members of the diplomatic staff of a diplomatic mission.

Consent to the Generation of Electricity by the West Coast Electric Power Board by the Use of Water
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby consents to the generation of electricity by the West Coast Electric Power Board, subject to the following conditions,
CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed by the Water Power Regulations 1934, to be implied in every licence to use water for the purpose of generation or storing electricity, shall be deemed to be conditions of this consent as if it were such a licence.
- This consent is subject to compliance with the Water Power Regulations 1934, the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations, hereafter made in amendment or in substitution for any of those regulations, as if in the case of the Water Power Regulations 1934 it were a licence under the Public Works Act 1928, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity, as well as a consent under the Electricity Act 1968, to generate electricity by the use of water.
- The generation of electricity by the use of water, pursuant to this consent, shall be carried out by means of the works described in the Schedule hereto.
- This consent shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force for a period of 21 years from the 1st day of November 1977 and may be renewed at the end of this period with the Minister’s consent.
- This consent confers no rights to water under the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967 or otherwise.
- This consent shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of November 1977.
- The station shall be operated to supply the normal electricity demand of the West Coast Electric Power Board and to conform reasonably to the pattern of the supply authority’s daily load curve.
- For the purpose of assessing in accordance with the Water Power Regulations 1934, the rental or annual sum payable in respect of this consent, the maximum generating capacity of the scheme shall be assessed at 9800 kW.
SCHEDULE
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
The main source of water for the Dillmans hydro electric scheme from Kawhaka Creek is supplemented by water drawn from the Big Wainihinihi River and the Wainihinihi Creek which is passed by means of water races into Kawhaka Creek.
A diversion race carries the water into Kapitea Creek where it is stored in two reservoirs known as Loopline Reservoir and Kapitea reservoir, and then used for generating electricity by means of the following works:
(a) Headworks consisting of 2 dams, a spillway, and an intake structure, situated at points in Block XVI of Waimea Survey District in Westland County.
