Reservation of Land

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for historic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be subject to the provisions of Part V of that said Act.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Dargaville Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the lands described in the Schedule hereto as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said lands, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens, of the Borough of Dargaville, in trust, for those purposes.

Reservation of Land and Declaration that Land be Part of the Te Porere Pa Historic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for historic purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to form part of the Te Porere Pa historic reserve, to be administered as an historic reserve by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve specifying the Manner of Disposal and how Proceeds of Sale shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for accessway purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Waitemata City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

The Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 1, 1977

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 1, 1977.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

4. The Traffic Notice, dated the 7th day of May 1965†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Ohaupo Town District, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waipa County at Ohaupo:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) at the eastern end of the Ngahinapouri-Ohaupo Main Highway; thence south-easterly generally along the eastern side of the said State highway to a point 280 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said side of the said State highway from Great Collins Street; thence across the said State highway at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; thence southerly generally along the western side of the said State highway to a point opposite the western end of Ranby Road; thence due west by a right line to the North Island Main Trunk Railway line to a point due west of the western end of Great Burke Street; thence northerly generally along the eastern side of Sandes Street to the southern side of the Ngahinapouri-Ohaupo main highway; thence easterly generally along the southern side of the said main highway to the commencing point.
