Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 13) 1976

PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 13) 1976.
   (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Goods of the classes specified, and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff, falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

3. The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.

Notice of Acquisition of Land

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been acquired as a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, as an addition to the Collingwood domain, to be administered as a public domain by the domain board.

Licensing Talley’s Fisheries Ltd. to maintain the Fish Freezer Vessel Kohi on the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Mangarakau, Whanganui Inlet

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Talley’s Fisheries Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Mangarakau, Whanganui Inlet, as shown on plan M.D. 12326, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon the fish freezer Kohi, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto. The licence of 29 June 1966*, authorising Kohi Freezing Co. Ltd. to maintain the fish freezer vessel Kohi on the foreshore and bed of the sea at Westhaven Inlet, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshores Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 4 years from the first day of July 1976.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be fifteen dollars ($15) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be eighty dollars ($80); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum so payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

(4) The four piles belonging to the Crown and used by the licensee shall be maintained in good order and repair.

Assigning the Foreshore Licence Authorising Desmond Peter Rutherford de Vantier to Occupy a Site for an Oyster Shed at Waikare Inlet, Bay of Islands

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the licence of 5 April 1974* authorising Desmond Peter Rutherford de Vantier to occupy a site for an oyster shed at Waikare Inlet, Bay of Islands, is hereby assigned to Roadley Bros. Ltd., of Whangarei.
