The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 3, 1976
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 3, 1976.

The area and roads, specified in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1976, dated the 3rd day of June 1976†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to the area and roads situated within Paparua County at Halswell, Hoon Hay, and Oaklands, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Paparua County at Halswell, Hoon Hay, and Oaklands:
No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa):
(a) From Templetons Road to the south-western boundary of Christchurch City; and
(b) From a point 160 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said State highway from Sparks Road to a point 120 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Larsens Road.
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point at the junction of the north-eastern side of Dunbars Road with the north-western side of the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa); thence south-westerly generally along the north-western side of the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa), across Dunbars Road, Lillian Street, and Nicholls Road to the southern side of Nicholls Road; thence westerly generally along the southern side of Nicholls Road to the north-eastern side of Halswell Junction Road; thence north-westerly generally along that side of Halswell Junction Road; across Oldham Place to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly generally along Halswell Junction Road from Murphys Road; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to the north-western end of Nottingham Avenue; thence north-westerly generally along the side roadside from Hindess Street; thence north-easterly generally across Dunbars Road at right angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side of Dunbars Road to the commencing point.
Glovers Road.
Halswell Junction Road: from the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) to Sabys Road.
Henderson Road from the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) to a point 240 metres measured south-easterly generally along Hendersons Road from Rowley Avenue.
Kennedys Bush Road: from the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) to Glovers Road.
Larsens Road.
School Road.
Sparks Road:
(a) From a point 100 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said road from Victors Road to the south-western boundary of Christchurch City; and
(b) From the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) to a point 100 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway.
Templeton Road.

SITUATED within Paparua County at Halswell, Oaklands, and Hoon Hay.
No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa): from Dunbars Road to a point 160 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from Sparks Road and from a point 120 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said highway from Larsens Road to Candys Road.
Halswell Junction Road: from Sabys Road to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly generally along Halswell Junction Road from Murphys Road.
Hendersons Road: from a point 240 metres measured south-easterly generally along Hendersons Road from Rowley Avenue to Sparks Road.
Hyndhope Road.
Kennedys Bush Road: from Glovers Road to a point 1920 metres measured southerly and easterly generally along the said road from Glovers Road.
Sparks Road: from Hendersons Road to a point 1000 metres measured south-westerly generally along Sparks Road from Victors Road.
