Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1974—Election of Growers’ Representative for Nomination for Reappointment to the Tobacco Board by the Minister of Trade and Industry

PURSUANT to regulation 8 (5) of the Tobacco Board Election Regulations 1975, I hereby declare, there being no other person duly nominated for election in accordance with the said regulations, Gerald Hamilton Hunt, tobacco grower, of Motueka, being a person qualified for election and duly so nominated, to be elected to be nominated to the Minister of Trade and Industry for reappointment, in terms of sections 4, 5, and 6 of the Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1974, as a growers’ representative on the Tobacco Board, for a term of 3 years commencing on the 1st day of September 1976.

New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement

PURSUANT to the terms of the Exchange of Letters, dated 27 November 1973, between member states party to the New Zealand-Australia Free Trade Agreement, being an Exchange of Letters, executed in accordance with Article 3:7 of that Agreement, for the purpose of implementing special measures beneficial to the trade and development of Australia and New Zealand, the goods, listed in the Schedule to this notice, have been added to Schedule B as constituted by the said Exchange of Letters, with effect from 1 July 1976.
