Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Insurance Companies Deposits Act 1953—Proposed Release of Deposit
THE Australian Alliance Assurance Company has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on business in New Zealand, in respect of the class of insurance business designated as Class 1 in the First Schedule to the above-mentioned Act, and that pursuant to section 19 of the above-mentioned Act it proposes to withdraw the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.
The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act, that, being satisfied that all liabilities of the said company in New Zealand in respect of insurance business referred to herein have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company, on or after 11th August 1976, the amount deposited with him by the said company in respect of Class 1 insurance business.
Any objections to the release of the amounts deposited should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before 28 July 1976.

Law Practitioners Act 1955
PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society, on the 14th day of May 1976, ordered that the name of Leslie Sparksman Greendale be struck off the roll of barristers and the roll of solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand and further ordered that the said Leslie Sparksman Greendale pay to the New Zealand Law Society the sum of seven hundred and ninety five dollar for costs.

Declaration of Vehicle with Motor Cycle Controls to be a Motor Cycle
PURSUANT to section 2 of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby declares that the vehicle, described in the Schedule hereto, having motor cycle controls, is a motor cycle for the purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
The three-wheeled vehicle with motor cycle controls and a Kawasaki engine, bearing the number KF 34-442071, which was manufactured in 1976 by Mr F. B. Basher, of Napier.

NOTICE is hereby given that the New Zealand standard specifications, listed in the Schedule hereto, have been reviewed by committees of the Standards Council and have been recommended for revocation, pursuant to the provisions of the Standards Act 1965.
Any person who may be affected by the proposal to revoke these standard specifications, and who wishes to object to their revocation, is invited to submit comments to the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington, not later than 6 August 1976.
