The Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1 1976
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1976.
- The roads, specified in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- The roads, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
- The Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 4th day of September 1975+, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 which relates to roads, situated within Hastings City, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hastings City:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 400 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said highway from Southampton Street to the south-western boundary of Hastings City.
Ada Street: from a point 250 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said street from Windsor Avenue to the south-eastern boundary of Hastings City.
Chatham Road: from Omahu Road to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Margate Avenue.
Henderson Road: from Omahu Road southerly generally to the boundary of Hastings City, a distance of approximately 200 metres.
Howard Street: from a point 320 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said street from Windsor Avenue to a point 500 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Windsor Avenue.
Kirkwood Road.
Louie Street: from a point 50 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said street from Windsor Avenue to Ada Street.
Omahu Road: from a point 40 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Stonycroft Street to the north-western boundary of Hastings City.
Wilson Road: from Omahu Road to the boundary of Hastings City near Manchester Street.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hastings City:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 400 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said highway from Southampton Street to the south-western boundary of Hastings City.
Omahu Road: from a point 60 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Ormond Road to a point 40 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Stonycroft Street.
Wilson Road: from Omahu Road to the boundary of Hastings City near Manchester Street.
