Reservation of Land and Declaration that Land be Part of the Otoi Domain

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for recreation purposes and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Otoi domain, to be administered as a public domain by the domain board.

Resumption of Unformed Legal Road in Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District, and Block IV, Waimea Survey District, Grey County

Pursuant to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Grey County Council, pursuant to the said section 191B, and as from the date of this notice the land shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Declaration that the Katikati Domain shall be a Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Tauranga County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Katikati domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, such land to remain subject to lease No. S550976, and further, pursuant to the said Act vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Tauranga, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and how Proceeds of Sale shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for street purposes over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Levin Borough Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council's reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for public purposes.

This notice is issued in substitution for the notice, dated 30 January 1976, and published in Gazette, No. 15, 12 February 1976, page 296, and that notice is hereby cancelled.

The Traffic (Whangarei City and Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1976

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangarei City and Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1976.
2. The roads, specified in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The road, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area, for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
4. The road, specified in the Third Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
5. The Traffic (Whangarei City) Notice No. 2, 1974, dated the 2nd day of September 1974†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads, situated within Whangarei City, is hereby revoked.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from Murdoch Crescent to the southern boundary of Whangarei City.
